Llanbedrog, Llŷn Peninsula, North Wales

Llanbedrog is a small village on the southern side of the Llŷn Peninsula between Pwllheli and Abersoch.

It has a wonderful sandy bay of a beach, sheltered by a huge rocky headland and dotted with colourful beach huts.

There is a lovely art gallery at Plas Glyn Y Weddw and great places to eat at the Aqua Beach Bar looking over the beach and the Ship Inn at the top of the village.

The village took its name from St Petroc the 6th Century saint.
