Fire and Sea Festival HarlechHarlech, Snowdonia


The final Festival will take place in Harlech from 10am on Saturday 27th October 2018. 

October brings the final confrontation of Meirion and the Morfeirch in the castle, where the plight of our sea becomes clear to the people of Harlech. Under Meirion’s leadership, they resolve to heal the damage done and take to care of this precious resource. A celebration is held to confirm this promise. At each festival, event learn more about the legend of Meirion and his struggle to harness the power of the magical Harlech Torc. Our journey will now take us to Harlech beach, where we invite the public to build to make a defensive line of Sea Castles against the advance of the Seventh Wave. As dusk falls, join the evening campfire lit and attended by the Knights of Ardudwy and watch as the castles are illuminated by biodegradable lanterns..


The final Festival will take place in Harlech town and castle from 10am on Saturday 27th October 2018. 
*Tickets must be purchased to enter the main performances in the castle

10am - 4pm - Free workshops and stalls in Memorial Hall

5pm - 6.00pm - Procession through town to Harlech Castle

6.30pm - 10.00pm - Music in Harlech Castle (ticketed)

10.00pm onwards - Free session in the Memorial Hall
