Canyon Wales, Dolgarrog, Snowdonia
Canyon Wales specialises in great fun gorge walking and canyoning adventures for all the family. Located in the beautiful Conwy Valley, Canyon Wales is nestled right in there with some of the most impressive gorges and canyons that Snowdonia has to offer. Meet your instructors at the Canyon Wales basecamp, where you'll be issued with top quality equipment, such as nice warm winter weight wetsuits, harnesses, helmets and buoyancy aids. Then head out to one of the dramatic gorges on the doorstep.
They run three levels of a trip, from beginner level 1 trip suitable for youngsters, level 2 trips which are the classic favourite for stag, hen groups and families with older kids, and then level 3 trips for the seasoned adventurer who fancies something more demanding on the body and mind. All their trips will see you well looked after by highly experienced instructors, who know these places like the back of their hands to keep you safe and to give you the best possible experience.
At the end of the day, head back to the basecamp for tea and cake, and the comfort of a changing room to strip off your kit. What's more is they'll have waterproof cameras to capture the experiences, and you'll get full access to these photos afterwards to recall the experience for years to come.
Canyon Wales offers bespoke group sessions for groups of all sizes and abilities, and also offers open sessions for you to sign up to and join in on even last minute!
Lessons also available for children 8-11 years.
