Rib Ride, Menai Bridge, Anglesey, North Wales

RibRide is a brilliant adventure boat tour company based in North Wales. Their fun and friendly skippers will take you on a powerboat ride along the Menai Strait, or further afield around Anglesey's stunning coastline.

From Menai Bridge, tours in the Menai Strait take in bridges, history, geology, islands, wildlife, piers, shipwrecks, stately homes, statues and whirlpools. Head out of the Strait, past castles guarding the routes to open water, to find islands littered in wildlife and folklore.  See seasonal birds like Puffin or year round residents like seals. Out here there are also regular sightings of porpoise and dolphin.

From Holyhead RibRide Explorer visits the Skerries (a group of offshore stacks and islands to the north of Anglesey) and Gogarth Bay. This allows you to see spectacular seascapes, migratory birds in unimaginable numbers, some of the highest sea cliffs in Wales and boat swallowing caves. Explorer is the only boat capable of operating a scheduled tour in these lively waters, having already been tested in extreme Arctic environments by the famous adventurer Bear Grylls.  It leaves from Holyhead Marina, during summer months only.

Velocity is the worlds fastest RibRide. This is no ordinary boat, it is an adrenaline-fuelled fast moving RIB going from zero to the ‘speed of scream’. The Skippers will take you out on an amazingly fast adventure reaching optimum ‘Velocity’. Shoreside briefing and 30min RibRide from Menai Bridge.

There’s a range of charter options available, with bespoke tours to accommodate families' friends, stags and hens or more corporate groups. You can tie up on a remote beach for a picnic lunch or enjoy martini cocktails on the quayside as part of your tour.  The rides are a great idea for a special occasion or memorable gift – the perfect present for the person who has everything.  If you're staying in one of our waterfront properties they might be able to pick you up from your very own jetty. Just ask us and we’ll arrange it if we can!
