Nefyn Holiday Cottages

Nefyn - a quiet seaside village next to stunning beaches and cliff top walking

Nefyn, Llŷn Peninsula, North Wales

It seems an unlikely location for one of the world’s best beach bars (the Ty Coch Inn, pictured above) but just outside this quiet little seaside town, at Porthdinllaen, that’s exactly what you’ll find. You can only access the pub by foot or by boat, and that sums up perfectly the pace of life in this exceptionally beautiful, unspoilt corner of the Llŷn Peninsula. The beach at Nefyn is sheltered and sandy, and there’s some fantastic clifftop walking. Look out for the Iron Age hill fort on one of Yr Eifl’s majestic three peaks which overlook the bay.
