Next stop is the pretty Italianate village of Portmeirion. Renowned for its colourful buildings and idyllic location, Portmeirion is a fantastic place to spend the day. Wander along the waters edge with an ice cream in hand, dine at the welcoming Castell Deudraeth Brasserie, or browse the shops!

If you want to continue along the coast, you will find the charming towns of Harlech and Barmouth in one direction, and the popular locations of Criccieth, Pwllheli, and Abersoch in the other. All of which are well-known for their gloriously sandy beaches.
