Everything you need is there , like home from home . Nice touch by owners leaving bits on arrival milk, sweets and cake . Owners in touch before with all codes and messaged after our visit . “Puffin Pad is an excellent holiday let.”

The furniture is first-rate, the decor stylish. It's very cosy and although it faces the road/caravan park/bins, is very quiet. The proximity to the beach and local shops was a big selling point for us, as was the easy access to the coastal walk. Our only complaint was the over-aggressive product used in the four kitchen bins. They were dripping wet with it and caused me breathing problems and gave my husband headache.

“What a wonderful apartment!”

So immaculate upon arrival. Tastefully decorated and very homely. The apartment was very well equipped, everything has been carefully thought about by the owners. The owners communication was fantastic, we have stayed at properties before and never had any communication from owners but Mark and Pam made it very clear that they were readily available if needed. They also messaged us to let us know that we could check in early and then also let us know that we could delay our departure by an hour, which was a huge help :) The welcome pack provided was lovely and thoughtful, they even included a free family national trust voucher which we used to visit Plas newydd. The location of the apartment is perfect, 1 minute walk to the beach and loads of local eateries and amenities. It is also located in a gated area, so people not staying at the apartment block cannot gain entry to the building or car park. We 100% recommend this apartment to everyone and we will definitely be returning!

A lovely welcome pack and great communication from the owners. Firm comfy beds, games and books with local walks etc. Real consideration has been given to facilitating a lovely holiday for guests. 5 minutes walk to the beach, literally round the corner. We had a fabulous time. Anglesey has so much to offer, unspoilt and beautiful. Small towns, independent businesses, friendly people. A great place for walking, seeing birds/wildlife, getting away and recharging.

“Puffin Pad is in a lovely location and within walking distance of the beach, which was great!”

It is a beautifully-appointed apartment, but the outdoor sitting area is really only a couple of benches on the car park... The kitchen sink is squashed in a corner and the wardrobe in the twin room is barely accessible. I am surprised to have found any snags in a 5 star property, and the sloping ceilings in the three main rooms mean you have to bend to reach the windows and risk banging your head.

Hello Pam We are really sorry you felt there were a number of snags. Of course in a small top floor holiday apartment it is difficult to avoid compromise with regard to layout and design. In an 18 apartment block with need for parking for everyone space is also limited, the covered bbq area with benches and seating over the bridge is generally sufficient for the odd occasion when the beach isn’t calling. We are looking into changing the photos to hopefully show even more clearly what to expect. Property Owner

“Apartment was clean and is in a good location for the beach and the facilities in Benllech .”

The space in the bedrooms and living area is restricted by the infrastructure for the dormer windows . The kitchen is small - very little space for non fridge food - when emptying the dishwasher you have to stack the pots on the worktop because with the door open you can’t reach the cupboard . It is awkward to open the drawers on the washing machine because it is in a cupboard . We would highly recommend Benllech .

“Excellent property that was very quiet due to the time of year.”

It was actually too warm on arrival and my fault I was slow in contacting Mark the owner. As soon as we did he adjusted it by phone and then it was very comfortable. Safe environment in gated accommodation. Weather sunny and beach walks enjoyed. One wild wet day so we took advantage of the sea views and read our books. Overall a great relaxing time was had. “Easy to book, instructions to the apartment were clear.”

The apartment was very clean, and had everything we needed. Better then home from home. A perfect base, whether just going to the beach , down the road, walking along the cliff to next bay, about half an hours walk, or travelling to other villages. The village of Benllech, has 2 small supermarkets, a pub, a few lovely restaurants and fish and chip shops, all of the above we sampled. A very enjoyable holiday. Thank you Pam and Mark,

Everything that is needed for a great self catering holiday. Very comfortable, clean, warm and welcoming with great attention to detail. Ideal location for Benllech beach (literally 2 min walk) as well as a good base for surrounding area. Secure car parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, so much so on our return we went to book for the same period next year only to discover it’s over £200 more expensive than the same weekend we have just had, working out at £210 / night. So whilst the accommodation is amazing we figured we could probably spent the £600 + quoted in a very nice hotel where breakfast and possibly dinner would be included !

“The house, puffin pad, was super.”

It was very new but very well looked after. The owner made you feel at home and there weren't rules all over the place to limit your enjoyment. A welcome pack was given and the whole set up was first rate. It is very near to the centre of town and the beach with access to the coastal path which we enjoyed walking. The literature left was informative and very helpful. All in all a lot of care had been taken to make sure we enjoyed our time ther and we came away very relaxed. Would we go again and recommend this place. Most definitely. Thank you.
