If you’re looking for a seaside getaway with plenty of fun activities and attractions, then a Pwllheli Holiday Cottage could be a perfect choice.

Why a Pwllheli Holiday Cottage?

Pwllheli is a bustling market town with a south-facing beach that looks out across Cardigan Bay to Snowdonia. It's only a short drive away from the ever-popular seaside village of Abersoch. Pwllheli is the unofficial capital of the Llyn Peninsula, having been granted the Borough Charter 600 years ago by the Black Prince.

Glasfryn Parc Activity Centre is a very popular tourist attraction. With GoKarting, Segways and Ten Pin Bowling, Glasfryn Parc is a great place to spend the day with the family.

Pwllheli and its surrounding area are known for its world-class waters and amazing views - the perfect combination for water-based activities. Plas Heli, the Welsh National Sailing Academy and Events Centre, is also located here.

As well as being a haven for water sports-enthusiasts Pwllheli is famous for its award-winning fish and chips and delicious Welsh ice cream. There’s a busy open-air market in the town square every Wednesday and Sunday in the summer. There is so much going on in and around Pwllheli, that a Pwllheli holiday is sure to be one to remember.

Places to visit near your Pwllheli Accommodation

Located on the picturesque Llyn Peninsula, Pwllheli is the perfect base to explore the stunning sights of North Wales. The Llyn Peninsula is home to picture-perfect beaches, hidden coves and rugged sea cliffs, waiting to be discovered. Some of our favourite seaside locations include Aberdaron, Abersoch, Nefyn, Criccieth and Morfa Nefyn.

Or why not venture to Snowdonia National Park, home to impressive mountain scenery, adrenaline-filled activities and charming mountain communities. We’d also recommend a day trip to Anglesey; walk part of the Anglesey Coastal Path or visit the idyllic locations of Menai Bridge, Beaumaris or Red Wharf Bay.
