Why Pwllheli?

Pwllheli is a bustling market town with a south-facing beach that look out across Cardigan Bay to Snowdonia. It's only a short drive away from the ever-popular seaside village of Abersoch. Pwllheli is the unofficial capital of the Llyn Peninsula, having been granted the Borough Charter 600 years ago by the Black Prince.

There is so much going on in and around Pwllheli, Glasfryn Parc is a very popular tourist attraction. With GoKarting, Segways, Ten Pin Bowling and more it's a great place to spend the day with the family.

Plas Heli, the Welsh National Sailing Academy and Events Centre is located here. This area is known for its world-class waters and amazing views, the perfect combination for water-based activities.

As well as being a haven for water sports-enthusiasts it’s famous for its award-winning fish and chips and delicious Welsh ice cream. There’s a busy open-air market in the town square every Wednesday and Sunday in the summer.
