“Lovely shepherd's hut set in a beautiful location, gorgeous views over the hills and the sea and so peaceful and quiet.”

There was a kestrel sitting on the hut when we arrived, lovely to see. The actual shepherd's hut was very charming and comfortable, especially the bed. Plenty of room in the shower, though the bathroom is very small and can be hard to move in. There was a Lovely decking area to sit outside and admire the views. Unfortunately the log burner wasn't working but we rarely got cold. There are some amazing clifftop walks nearby, we went to the range and saw a seal on the beach and some breathtaking ...

South stack is definitely worth a visit and Trearddur bay has Lovely beaches and walks and the sea shanty is definitely worth a visit. We really enjoyed our holiday and would totally recommend it to everyone. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely Shepherd's hut, we would definitely like to return one day.

With stunning sea and mountain views that can be seen from the farm, these holiday homes are ideal for couples, families and friends with a number of attractions and places to visit within easy reach. Y Wennol and Y Wylan offer single-storey accommodation and both sleep two people, whilst Y Barcud and Bran Goesgoch sleep six each. About the location

HOLYHEAD

Trearddur Bay 3 miles.

The bustling town of Holyhead rests on the North West coast of the Isle of Anglesey, the largest town on the island and perhaps known best for being the main ferry port to Ireland. Steeped in history, the town boasts the remains of Roman town walls and forts, medieval burial chambers and stone village foundations. Explore the Breakwater Country Park, a former quarry, which offers designated walks through the grounds. The park is full of interesting wildlife, most notably the seals who visit the Holyhead coast, and outlines the amazing construction of the world's longest breakwater, some 1.8 miles, which today protects the harbour. Visit the colourful marina with its yachts and tall ships, or the town's maritime museum, with its tales of 100 shipwrecks in the vicinity. Day trips to Ireland can be enjoyed easily from here, with Dublin just 90 minutes away on the fast ferry. With spectacular cliff top walks over Holyhead Mountain, golden sandy beaches at the award winning Trearddur Bay and the Snowdonia National Park just a 20 minute drive away, this is a superb holiday location, at any time of the year.
