    Sue & Dave Richards

“We felt relaxed and comfortable as soon as we walked in.”

This is our perfect apartment and not too far away. Everything seemed carefully chosen to make our stay feel relaxing and look beautiful. We enjoyed walks into Beaumaris, next day through the wood to Newborough beach and finally around the house and gardens at Penrhyn Castle. The Lobster Pot at Church Bay was the ideal venue for my husbands birthday lunch.

The property

As soon as you start to descend the curving drive, passing the pretty pond, the breathtaking landscape unfolds - a beautiful Snowdonia mountain backdrop with Penrhyn Castle, Porth Penrhyn harbour and Bangor's Victorian pier in the foreground.

Once you approach the final corner, with stunning views along the Menai Strait, you will arrive at the manor house which is located between the popular towns of Menai Bridge and Beaumaris on Anglesey. 'Nyth y Frân', is an elegant penthouse apartment in the recently converted Victorian manor house complete with turrets and castellations and built originally for the owner of the White Star Line in 1889. This apartment has been decorated and furnished to the highest standard and provides a special feeling of peace and tranquillity.

The elevated position of the apartment in the manor gives exceptional panoramic views from all principal rooms.

The constant movement of boats up and down the strait during the day is captivating and the sunrises and sunsets are always very special.

The sitting room Velux balcony offers fantastic views to Mount Snowdon and the Britannia suspension bridge. There is a lift as well as stairs serving the apartment which is on the top floor and on one level.
