Perfect for friends and families alike, the cottage sleeps up to four guests and is conveniently located for a getaway in the countryside of North Wales.

On arrival at the property, you will find a private driveway for one car, and an enclosed front garden with lawn and picnic table, easily accessible by ramp.

Heading into Y Rhandy, be welcomed by the open-plan kitchen/diner, fully functional for self-catering stays; also acting as the social hub for the entire property.

With both a sitting room and mezzanine to relax from, unwind in front of the TV, or head upstairs for some quiet time, elevated away from the holiday hustle and bustle.

After a day of activities or an evening of hosting, make use of the ground-floor shower room before retreating to the light and airy bedrooms, choosing between a king-size bed upstairs or a ground-floor twin (zip/link on request).

As a new day sets in, venture into the local village of Newborough, closely situated to the shore, a wealth of nature hotspots and local amenities, including a pub, cafe and convenience store.

If you fancy a trip full of sightseeing, hike through Newborough Forest towards Twr Mawr Lighthouse, situated on Llanddwyn Island, acting as a breath-taking viewpoint of the county, alternatively head to Caernarfon to explore the medieval grounds of Caernarfon Castle, or tour the near woodlands of the National Trust property of Plas Newydd House and Gardens.

For avid walkers, Eryri (Snowdonia) has many walks for all abilities and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and its summit are a must-see, along with Beaumaris Pier and Malltraeth Sands.

To keep the entire family busy, visit Anglesey’s Transport and Agriculture Museum - Tacla Taid, located within 1.5 miles of Y Rhandy, here you can see a display of over 100 vehicles from motorcycles, tractors, cars and a growing military section and a Hunter Hawk plane, there is also an onsite cafe, alternatively book tickets to visit Anglesey Sea Zoo and its exhibit of ocean life, put on your wellies and head over to Foel Farm Park, or view Anglesey from a height at the local Model Village and Cafe.

The small village of Newborough (Welsh spelling: Niwbwrch) lies on the edge of forests and dunes at the south west corner of Anglesey. Close by is Llanddwyn Bay, renowned as one of the finest beaches in Britain, ideal for swimming, canoeing, beachcombing and birdwatching or just relaxing! Behind the beach, the 1500 acre sand dune system of Newborough Warren is home to skylarks, meadow pipits and oyster catchers as well as toads and lizards and is protected as a National Nature Reserve. The Tan y Foel horse riding centre is within 3 miles of the village centre and Anglesey Sea Zoo, Foel Farm and the Anglesey Sea Salt are only a short drive away and make a fun day out for the whole family. Nearby Aberffraw is the home of the Anglesey racing track and will offer an exciting day.
