    “This is a great little property right in the centre of Caernarvon overlooking the harbour.”

    Although smail, it's perfect for 2 and the upside down layout really works. Everything is of a good quality and it is a change to find a TV that is so often advertised as being 'smart' when they are just a standard freeview, this time being truly smart with Prime, Netflix and all the catch up channels. A few suggestions that would help, the kitchen could do with a small bowl & a measuring jug, trying to make scrambled eggs in a coffee cup is a challenge!! Storage for washing bits is very ...

Storage for washing bits is very limited in the bathroom & the bath towels are of the small size, only just suitable and we are both slim, the next size up would be better. A non slip mat would be useful in the shower and its a shame that the towel rail does not have an electric element to dry the towels when the main heating is off. The led bulbs need sorting out as we had 4 fail in the week we were there, they either stop altogether or flicker which could affect some visitors. A word of thanks to Colin the caretaker who attended to the bulbs very quickly and was very helpful. Caernarvon has so much to offer both in the town and nearby, worthwhile visiting.

The property

Cwm Gwyrfai is a romantic, ground-floor duplex apartment in the royal town of Caernarfon, Gwynedd.

This dog-friendly, reverse-level apartment for two by the sea features open-plan living, easy access to local facilities, and is just a short drive from Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.

A contemporary double bedroom on the ground floor with hanging space, industrial-style bedside lamps, and homely covers and cushions.

Freshen up in the spotless shower room just next door, which features a wide walk-in shower and heated towel rail.

Upstairs, there's a bright open-plan living area where you can put your feet up and watch the Smart TV set on the wall.

Prepare the table for two while your partner prepares a romantic supper in the kitchen, which includes an electric oven and hob, microwave, and fridge.

Guests can also use the shared washing machine and tumble dryer to keep their vacation clothes clean!

About the location

CAERNARFON

Llanberis 8 miles; Bangor 9 miles.

Caernarfon (county town of Gwynedd) has much historic and cultural importance in North Wales. It is a popular tourist spot with its impressive 13th Century castle, well preserved town walls and delightful water front. During the season there are guided tours of the castle and special events including historic pageants. There is also a station for the Welsh Highland Railway, which passes through dramatic scenery, the village of Beddgelert and onto Porthmadog. Fishing trips are available from the harbour and another attraction within walking distance of the town centre is Segontium, a Roman fort and museum, housing many important finds. Caernarfon offers a wide selection of shops and places to eat and is close to the lovely beaches of the Isle of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula as well as the mountains and rivers of Snowdonia, including the renowned mountaineering town of Llanberis at the foot of Mount Snowdon.
