22 Gwel Yr Wyddfa is a recently refurbished three-bedroom property, less than a mile from the centre of Menai Bridge and its many attractions and amenities.

22 Gwel Yr Wyddfa is the ideal base for families exploring this beautiful part of North Wales.

As you walk through the front door, you’ll find a fully renovated kitchen with high-quality amenities, including a dishwasher, washing machine, gas hob and oven, fridge/freezer and all the cooking utensils you'll need to create a culinary feast.

Continue on through the hallway into the large living room, where an inviting sofa and arm chair provide the perfect spot to unwind in front of the widescreen TV after a day exploring the sights of North Wales.

Enjoy a meal together in the dining room, which opens straight into the enclosed south-facing patio garden area with plenty of seating to enjoy the warm, afternoon sunshine while your four-legged friends stretch their legs.

The spacious ground-floor double bedroom boasts plenty of storage space and overlooks the patio area, benefitting from access to the cloakroom, with a basin and WC, where you can freshen up.

Head up the stairs to discover two further bedrooms, consisting of a large twin room which gets lots of natural light from the Velux window, along with a single room that would be ideal for a child.

The contemporary family bathroom completes the layout; decorated to a high standard in neutral colours, with a bath and shower over, so you can enjoy a relaxing soak or a quick rinse to prepare for each new day. Just a short walk away from this quiet neighbourhood is a number of pubs and restaurants in the centre of Menai Bridge, including popular seafront restaurant Dylan’s Menai Bridge, where you can enjoy local produce whist taking in the views across the spectacular Menai Straight.

There’s plenty of activities to enjoy in the local area to suit everyone; for thrill seekers, enjoy a rib ride on the Menai Strait, taking in the beautiful coastline of North Wales whilst travelling up to 50mph on a rigid inflatable boat.

If you’re more interested in keeping on dry land, take a walk to the Menai Heritage Exhibition at the Thomas Telford Centre, where you can find out more about the local history and Menai Suspension Bridge.

Just over 30 minutes' drive away will take you into the heart of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with its mountains, lakes and nature trails.

The National Trust's Bodnant Gardens comprises an 80-acre collection of plants collected over a century ago and is within easy reach, along with the butterfly palace of Pili Palas and the astounding Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens, all of which are ideal days out for families and well worth exploring.

For a beach day out, head to Beaumaris, where you can stroll along the pier and enjoy the coastal scenery, discover its imposing 13th century castle and hop on a boat tour over to Puffin Island to see these beautiful birds in their protected habitat.

The beautiful beaches at Colwyn Bay and the popular seaside resort of Llandudno are also worth visiting.

MENAI BRIDGE

Llanfairpwllgwyngyll 2 miles; Bangor 2.5 miles; Beaumaris 4.5 miles; Caernarfon 8 miles

This delightful town sits right on the edge of the Isle of Anglesey and is home to one of two bridges to mainland Wales. It is an ideal base for a holiday and is great for exploring this beautiful island. It has a strong history which can be discovered in the Menai Bridge Heritage Museum, the well known Saint Tysilio lived on Church Island, just off of Anglesey in the 7th century, hence the name of the 15th century St. Tysilio's Church. Menai Bridge itself offers a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy. In terms of entertainment, this is an ideal spot with something for everybody, there is the butterfly palace 'Pili Palas' which is incredibly popular with families, as well as the astounding Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens well worth a walk around. The Snowdonia National Park is within driving distance for you outdoor enthusiasts, it has wonderful walking, cycling and opportunities to see some beautiful sights. Nearer to the town, there are some incredible places including the popular towns of Beaumaris and Caernarfon with their majestic castles and much more to do.
