“We took my disabled mother and the only thing I would mention is that there are a couple of high steps at the back and front entrances.”
Once inside there were no problems.
The weather definitely was not kind to us but that made the experience great!!
The views are amazing and we spent hours looking out to sea trying to spot seals or porpoises.
We were lucky enough to spot both.
The East cottage is homely and comfortable.
The beds are really comfortable.
As I said the weather was not kind but hearing the wind howling inside and out was great... although it did make the windows and doors rattle a lot.
The heating is very good.
There are extra blankets and hot water bottle if you feel that you need it but we definitely didn't.
The wildlife is fantastic and with horses grazing right outside the window whilst looking out for the sea life was delightful.
Lovely sunsets and sunrises too.
Try and take your own binoculars with you.
You can be a bit picky but the lighthouse has everything you need for a great holiday.
We loved our week long stay and have fallen in love with Anglesey.
Thank you Robin and Iona
