“We loved our week at Glanryhd Uchaf.”

The house is huge and light and the views are even better than they appear on the photos. We loved coming back after a day out walking along the coast path or visiting one of the many beaches to sit on the sofas and watch the estuary.... Curlews, Oyster Catchers and of course the Kestrel who seemed to be always hunting along the edge of the garden. We walked both ways along the coast path from the garden - lots to see in both directions. Walking south to see the amazing aircraft at RAF Valley and north to the bay near the bridge. Our dog loved the walks on the sand when the tide was out - so much space to run around and when the tide was in we used our kayaks to explore a little further. A week was not nearly enough to do all we wanted to. A huge thank you to the owners who very very kindly let us have their week after ours had to be cancelled due to covid. We were so grateful.

The property

This fantastic holiday house is all on one level, so perfect for all the family!

Open planned spaces for enjoying your time together, and ample outside space for games and activities.

To top it off you have a private gate which leads you to your very own beach!

"I am in love!

What an amazing holiday house and an amazing spot!

I couldn't think of anywhere better to share a holiday with family and friends." On the west coast of Anglesey, right on the Cymyran Strait, you are greeted with breathtaking views across the water to Holy Island.

The Coastal Footpath passes by the house and I am sure that it is a bird watchers dream!

Whilst the house does not sit alone, it feels like a secret escape!

Just wait and see!

Despite its seclusion, you are only 10 minutes to the nearest village of Valley, with convenience stores, a fantastic butcher and deli as well as a selection of pubs and restaurants.

Why not try Catch 22 Brasserie for a spot of tapas and a cocktail! Popular seaside spots of Rhoscolyn and Trearddur Bay are both a short drive away, in addition to Holyhead for Supermarkets.

Further exploration can be done without hassle with easy access on to the A55. If you need more space for your group, or would like to return with just a few of you, why not look at the neighbouring houses Bwthyn Glanrhyd (sleeps 4) or Glanrhyd Isaf (sleeps 14).
