The property

Y Goedwig is a wonderful family home, originally built and lived in by the renowned Italian architect C Berreta which is situated just on the edge of Rhosneigr close to Broad beach.

Within easy reach of the seaside, Y Goedwig is a lovely base for your next group getaway to the scenic Welsh coastline.

As you park up on the spacious driveway, you'll be delighted by the exquisite architecture of the holiday home, featuring grand porch pillars and towering bay windows, framing views across the coast and distant mountains.

Stepping over the threshold, you enter into the hallway, offering a handy space to store your beach-going essentials before continuing through to the amply-equipped kitchen to rustle up some tasty treats for the group to indulge in.

When it comes to serving up your delicious meal, you're spoilt for choice with where to sit, whether it be gathering around the dining table in the charming breakfast room that adjoins the kitchen, heading back through the hallway to the sociable living/dining room, or venturing outside through the patio doors to indulge in a spot of alfresco dining.

If you're lucky enough to experience the warmer weather and soak in the fresh sea air with a perch on a sun lounger or a soak in the hot tub?

Take a rest from the beach or sightseeing to be entertained whatever the weather in the exceptional recreational games room, snuggle down into the stylish plush sofa with a book or choose a movie on the 65" Smart Sky TV that offers the full range of channels including sports, also included in this epic entertaining space is a 7ft professional tournament pool table, table tennis, bar football and lots of other games there are plenty of activities for all ages to enjoy!

There are also two double bedrooms, one of which has access to an en-suite shower room, making it easy to prepare for the day ahead.

Completing the holiday home is a contemporary family bathroom with a walk-in shower cubicle as well as an elegant roll top bath, offering an idyllic place to enjoy an escape away from all the excitement and indulge in a peaceful soak amongst the bubbles.

Pack up your beach going essentials and take the short stroll to Traeth Llydan, the quieter of the two beaches in Rhosneigr, where you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the Irish Sea, soaking up the sun and making memories with your loved ones.

After working up an appetite, stop for a bite to eat at The Oyster Catcher within walking distance from Y Goedwig, it is a popular beachside restaurant serving up fresh local produce overlooking the dunes.

Walk along the seafront to reach the centre of Rhosneigr where you can join the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path, a 200-kilometre circular footpath around the island, passing through a mixture of landscapes, including woodland, clifftops, farmland, and dunes.

Test your swing at Clwb Golf St. Deiniol Golf Club or lace up your hiking boots and climb Holyhead Mountain, providing panoramic views across the island and Irish sea.

Adventurers can travel further afield and tackle the hike to the summit of Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales.

Llanfaelog is a small village on the western side of Anglesey, next to Rhosneig and close to the main railway that goes to Holyhead. Llanfaelog offers its own church, St Maelog's, built in 1848, along with a small selection of shops and restaurants. Close by is Traeth Llydan, a coarse sandy beach, backed by sand dunes, as well as Porth Tyn Tywyn beach and the pretty lake of Llyn Maelog, all offering pretty waterside walks. Nearby Rhosneigr is a popular seaside town and winner of the Green Coast Seaside Award for its two sandy beaches and popular centre for all watersports. There is a selection of delicious eateries to choose from, while walkers can join the Anglesey Coast Path, that will take you right around the island, encompassing magnificent coastal views. There is a golf course and RSPB nature reserve close by, while Holyhead is a short drive away, with the stunning Breakwater Country Park, built into a former quarry, a maritime museum and a selection of picturesque beaches at Trearddur Bay.
