  • “The cottage was well equipped with all we needed and even some extras we did not need such as a Washer/Dryer, the bed was very comfortable and bedding looked very new.”

Sam who was there on arrival was very helpful from first contact to leaving. The home had a few luxury touches like electric blinds that worked from remote and LED mirrors in the bathrooms, flat TV in all rooms along with sky TV in the main room, there was also free wifi throughout the home. The location was excellent miles of open land, fields and rocks could be seen from all windows. The front of the home was all glass and your view is farm land and a Mountain, there is a small road at the front with very little traffic may be busier in the summer months as it runs up to the Lighthouse. We found it very relaxing and no noise what so ever after around 7pm not even a car passing. We will be returning for another stay when we have time. Great location, Great property, Great Host.

The property

Ysbryd y Mynydd is Sam's second conversion and she has created yet another contemporary, luxurious holiday house.

Underfloor heating, ensuite bedrooms and a great combination of modern, comfortable furniture, together with carefully chosen soft furnishings and stylish decorative touches, make this a perfect retreat on the island of Anglesey. Ysbryd y Mynydd is an upside down house with the open plan living accommodation designed to maximise the views, and the en suite bedrooms downstairs are stylish and inviting. "The second of two luxury conversions, Ysbryd y Mynydd translates as Spirit of the Mountain and perfectly captures the magic and allure of South Stack." South Stack is magical and the sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking over this beautiful RSPB nature reserve.

Walk down the 400 steps to visit the attractive lighthouse and enjoy the awesome aerial acrobatics of the birds - it's also a good reason to stop and take your breath on the way back up!

Visit the RSPB Ellins Tower, where you can see live coverage of seasonal action and at nesting time the puffins are a treat! It is within easy reach of sandy beaches and you could even catch the ferry for a day trip to Dublin. Ysbryd y Mynydd sleeps 4 but should this not be enough space, there is the option to book the neighbouring and equally stunning Ty Nant that can accommodate up to 8.
