Other beaches n attractions not far away. We had a great holiday.

Beautiful stay.

Very well equipped and amazing that all bedrooms are ensuite. The only thing i could fault was attention to cleanliness. Could do with a deep clean, under radiators, skirting boards and rear garden which had discarded cans. Lots of building work going on next door which started early each morning . Also front outdoor furniture could do with a refurb. Would definately stay again though. So handy for the beach with the dogs. Literally a 5 minute walk. Never got to use upstairs terrace as the weather was a bit rubbish. Loved the games room.

We had a great stay at the Gables, the accommodation was very spacious, and the shops and the beach was only a short walk from the house we will definitely be going back soon.

Barring one problem on our arrival which the owner promptly dealt with, the stay was was very good.

We have been in contact with the owners and expressed how enjoyable our stay was.

We stayed as a group of friends for the weekend and were very comfortable.

There were enough individual beds for the 9 of us, the en suite bathrooms were very convenient and the kitchen was very well organised, with everything we needed to cook and eat together. With the large conservatory and lounge/dining room there was plenty of room for us to relax in. The location was also perfect, with ample parking for our 3 cars.

Everything you could need/want from a stay, fully equipped kitchen, books, games and the games room was a big hit with the family. Would highly recommend.

Just back from an amzing week at the Gables.

Really comfortable beds and pillows. No queuing for the bathroom. Spacious rooms throughout. Lots of storage. Lovely outside seating/sunbathing area with some shade for those who like to be out of the heat. This area is enclosed so ideal for children or dogs to play. Approachable proactive hosts. Lovely quiet area easy to access shop, restaurnts and beach.

A weekend away with 12 ladies to celebrate birthdays everything was amazing from our 1st day to the last couldnt fault anything,we were so very lucky with the weather which is rare in this country and would have loved some air con in the house at the time.

We as a family had a wonderful holiday not everyone stayed overnight one couple visited for the day.

The kitchen looked very well stocked although we didn't use it very much the position of the house is close to many restaurants. it is situated in a very quiet position making a nights sleep perfect.the 2 outside sitting area's are large and perfect with plenty of parking spaces.as a family we are all talking about returning next year as we can't faults anything communication with the owner was perfect.thanks.

Excellent home for large family get together, very clean and comfortable and with this being a December break I must add very warm and cozy.

Would definitely recommend this property for anyone staying on the lovely island of Anglesey. Just one tiny feedback, small glasses would be very useful for drinking whiskey etc. it’s not quite the same from a wine glass

We booked our family pre Christmas get together because some of us were not able to see each other over the festive period.

How wonderful it was to find the house decorated for Christmas with a large tree, lovely decorations and lights in the conservatory and living room. The Gables is a wonderful house ideal for a family holiday. Good quality fixtures and fittings tastefully installed. A lovely "lived in" feeling that allowed my family to relax and enjoy our stay. Games room is a huge plus, particularly in bad weather, bedrooms were of a good size and comfortable, (all ensuite), and we were able to cook some fabulous meals in the well appointed kitchen. Another advantage was that the house is big enough to get away for a "quiet time" if needed. Living room was large and comfortable. All in all, a good time was had by all despite the appalling weather when storm Darragh showed his hand.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Gables.

Excellent accommodation for a large group and so convenient for all that Trearddur has to offer and likewise for the facilities at Holyhead retail park. We would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a large group booking. Anglesey has never let us down over many years of visiting. This time we had excellent autumnal weather across the week, including Storm Ashley which made for spectacular viewing in the bay.

Lovely house .

Very comfortable beds and setting areas, we use the conservatory in the daytime and lounge in the evenings. All bedrooms being en suite is a bonus with 8 adults staying here. Extremely well equipped kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, glasses and cutlery. We were very lucky with the weather being mid September, so used the sun terrace . The outside space could do with a bit of TLC, but didn’t spoil our enjoyment. Plenty of places to eat , all in walking distance. Lovely walking in the area. Well stocked Spar shop in the village with large supermarkets a short drive away . Excellent holiday , thank you

A fantastic house, very clean with really great facilities, really great place from which to enjoy a lovely stay in Wales, 5 minutes walk from the beach and great restaurants.

We had a fantastic little weekend break catching up with our friends.

The house was large and very comfortable with all we needed. Nice little welcome pack on arrival. The games room was great fun and kept us all entertained. The adults loved having their tea/coffee in the morning sun room. Lots of great walks and places to visit. We love Treaddhur Bay!

We had a lovely relaxing 4 day break , the gables was spacious clean and very accommodating for our large family.

A beautiful property set far enough away for the quietness but close enough to walk to everything - beach, restaurants and beautiful walks.

We were 9 family members of varying ages and found the property suited all of our needs, particularly the adapted bathroom and ground floor bedroom.

We all enjoyed the darts and pool table. The kitchen has been very thoughtfully designed, loved the range and the massive island and we were able to set up our own wares in the utility room too. We had an issue with the dishwasher and both owner and agent were very quick to offer a solution which is always a sign of a well looked after property. In all The Gables had all we could want, including less than a 5 min walk to the beach. Would love to return to enjoy summer here,I imagine it's a sun trap!

We had a fantastic weekend at The Gables a family of 9 and 1 small dog.

Everything you need and more was available. The beds were very comfortable, the showers powerful and the rooms cosy. The kitchen was well equipped and we were greeted by a lovely welcome of fizz and cookies etc. if we get the opportunity we will definitely be back. Thank you

The property is lovely, we stayed over Christmas with the lounge and conservatory all decorated, bedrooms clean and well kept, all en suite, large kitchen with everything you would need , extra fridge and freezer in the utility, 5 mins to the beach, some great walks nearby.

There are plenty of places to eat and a local shop. The description is very accurate apart from the sofas and chairs being recliners, there not. All in all a excellent holiday rental

What a beautiful weekend away we had celebrating my Dads 70th birthday!

There was 12 of us in total & there was ample space for us all. The children throughly enjoyed the selection of games within the games room & us adults enjoyed the huge living room for us all to sit round reminiscing. A 2-3 minute walk to the beach & dog friendly pubs all within walking distance was great. I would definitely recommend this property & can see us booking to stay again in the future. Very comfortable stay.

Well equipped property. Large social rooms with adequate seating for our family get togethers. All bedrooms en-suite which is a great bonus. Walking distance of Chinese takeaway, chip shop, Ice cream parlour, restaurant and beach. What more could you ask for? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Gables never fails to delight us.

Our whole family look forward to our visit each year. We love the house. It suits all our needs. A perfect setting for all that Trierrddur Bay has to offer.

This was our second visit to The Gables, it is perfect for our family, very comfortable and near to beaches and restaurants.

Since last year there is also a good fish and chip shop and pizza restaurant. There is a problem with the toaster, can only toast three slices as the end slot only toasts one side of bread, time consuming with a large family. It looks ancient maybe need a new one. We are also booked in for next May, 2024.

Well equipped house, good facilities, comfortable beds and bedding.

Soap in bathrooms very handy. Excellent games room. Comfortable furniture. It is a pity the terrace and garden area is not accessible from the house. Although the house looked clean,we found dirty glasses and plates in the cupboard and had to give the dishwasher a good clean, also drains in showers need cleaning. Good location handy for beach

Amazing family holiday , cottage perfect for our family of 9, including two small children and a dog.

There was everything we needed. The walk to the beach took less than 10 minutes. Again, perfect for little legs.

Fabulous holiday home.

Lovely big rooms so 8 adults & 1 toddler never felt crowded. Kitchen very well equipped and spacious. The games room a bonus for family fun. Every bedroom having modern en-suites was great when everyone getting ready at the same time (hot water and pressure not an issue at all). Great balcony with views of countryside and sea although we didn’t use it that often as every day we were out in the glorious sunshine. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants, would recommend The Sea Shanty and Trearddur Bay Hotel. Thanks for sharing your holiday home.

Excellent property for a large group as plenty of space to have " my time " moments.

En-suite facilities for each bedroom a big advantage when preparing for dinner out or such, no waiting for showering or such. Close to the beach is also a bonus as any change in the weather can be catered for being only 5 minutes away. Games room very useful if you have a wet day. Brilliant property.

Great house, lovely location, booked again for next year

We had a lovely stay at The Gables, the property was spacious and had everything we needed.

The games room was a great addition which everyone all ages enjoyed. The beach only being a short walk was great for the dogs and there were good amenities around. It was a very quiet location and just perfectly suited our stay. Thank you!

House is amazing and really spacious.

We stayed there over Christmas and there was a mixture of adults, teenagers and children and it catered for all of us. There is loads of room so we were not under each others feet. Games room was a massive hit especially when the weather was bad and kept the kids entertained for hours. House is very well equipped and there was nothing it didn’t have. Location is perfect and there are lots of walks to do in the local area. Would highly recommend

A great house with lots of space for everyone, which is well equipped and with great amenities.

The games room is a massive bonus and the lounge/diner and conservatory are great places for a larger group to meet up to eat and chat. The bedrooms are spacious too and having an en-suite to each one is another big plus. The location is brilliant, a couple of minutes walk to the pubs and shop in Trearddur Bay and moments away from a bus stop to connect further afield. All in all, a great accommodation with a very helpful host, who provided great communication throughout.

Really enjoyed the cottage.

And everything was as listed. Superb area and plenty of local amenities. Only issues are whilst everything was neat and tidy, the floors could have been cleaner. Also making the garden secure would be great for us dog owners. But all in all, an excellent stay.

A family of eight all had a wonderful week.

Excellent house and near to beach . Good house for senior family members who might like to just relax . Children loved the games room. Terrace great for sun and coffee. We have booked for same week next year.

The location offers lots of opportunities for different activities and the house has plenty of games and entertainment. The equipment in the kitchen especially means you can easily cater for a large group.

Very homely and welcoming. We walked down to the beach with our dogs ever day and explored the head lands and coves.

Lots of space and great having an en-suite in every room. Facilities were excellent and the hosts were extremely helpful with any questions we had. Would definitely use this property again in the future.

The Gables was a great place to stay, three families of four had a fantastic New Years break here and would book again in a heartbeat.

Everything you could possibly need is there, the location is good, there’s plenty to see and do, the rooms & beds were well laid out and comfortable and the games room was fantastic.

This property is a credit to the owners and have no hesitation in recommending it.

My family and i enjoyed a long weekend at The Gables (four generations) celebrating dads 85th birthday.

. A good time was had by all.. We didnt get to use the sun deck as it was November.. But the games room was fab.. Beds were very comfortable and en suites were all perfectly updated.. The only (minor) problem we had was in the family room we used the drop-down bed so were unable to use the wardrobes!

The Gables is a real family home.

It is set in a beautiful location within easy walking to the beach local pubs, shops and cafes. The home has been renovated to a high standard. The beds rooms are large and the beds are very comfy. The heating system is good you don’t need it on much as the house is very warm. The baths are brilliant for a long soak after a long walk. The peace and quiet sat in the conservatory was lovely , but then to go onto the veranda and watch the jets flying over from RAF vally was awesome. “Just perfect “

We felt at home straight away in a house that is spacious, comfortable throughout and has everything you could ever need.

Wow what a cottage.

There was 12 of us and 1 dog the cottage has plenty of room never felt like we were overcrowded. We all enjoyed the games room. The beds were very comfy and all ensuites were amazing. Plenty of equipment in the kitcken everthing we needed. Would not hesitate to return

We are a family of ten six adults and four children we had a fantastic holiday in the wonderful house it had everything we needed and the games room was great so much space for the children to play.

So handy for the beach and other activities a great holiday was had by all.

A wonderful week at The Gables.

This was our second stay, and the house felt like home from home. The accommodation is spotless, incredibly comfortable and lacks for nothing. Lots of space for the family, and we were blessed with beautiful weather so made good use of the barbeque and outside dining area. Such a relaxing week in the sunshine!

The Gables is everything and more we could have hoped for, providing the perfect family holiday with all the indoor and outdoor space, comforts and facilities we could need, all in the most perfect setting and within 5 minutes of the beach!

Perfect for our needs as a multi age group family

It’s the first holiday we have booked through Sykes cottages and wouldn’t hesitate to book another.

The people who I spoke to were very understanding and helped make our holiday memorable. Our staycation holiday cottage was amazing.

A really good house for families.

Very spacious and well equipped. Incredibly clean! It is only a short walk to the shop/ beach and 2 restaurants in Trearddur.

Great house. Extremely well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable and loads of space in living areas. All ensuite bedrooms was brilliant as we had 4 generations. The ground floor bedroom and wet room for my elderly parents was especially good. Games room with pool, table tennis and darts was excellent. Very helpful owner too. A really fabulous family holiday

The Gables, is a very well appointed, spacious property.

The Gables is the best property we’ve visited in almost 30 years of family holidays.

Spacious, spotless and very welcoming. The kitchen is extremely well equipped (we are a family that likes to cook), and the games room is a great feature, especially on a showery afternoon. The reception rooms are comfortable and gave us plenty of space to relax. A sunny afternoon spent on the roof terrace with a good book was such a bonus. This was our first family trip to Anglesey, and all six of us (adults) had a perfect week split between relaxing at the house and exploring the bays and beaches on the west side of the island. None of us wanted to leave at the end of the week and we have booked for next summer! Thank you

The property has a welcoming warmth on entry and everything needed to make guests stay relaxing and enjoyable is provided. The owners are easily contactable if needed and responsive to any queries that arise. A perfect house for our family, each of us having our own space and facilities, whilst having a generous lounge and dining areas to enjoy time together. It's a superb property, well laid out, with plenty of space.

Quality mattresses for a good nights sleep and new bathroom suites, a suprise this year. With everything you need for those wet days, close enough to the beach, yet quiet. This was our 3rd year and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves again. Youngest member 6, eldest 91.

We had a lovely family holiday, the house was big enough for us all, very comfortable and had everything we needed, in an ideal place, close to beach as we had 3 young children, good restaurants close by.

All in all everyone had a good time including the dog

This house was perfect, we could not have wished for anything better.

The weekend was a great success enjoyed by all ages, from 16 to 74. The facilities & accoutrements were second to none. A really good weekend.

The cottage was ideal for our purposes, it was in an excellent location, close to all the amenities.

Well worth the money! Our group booking consisted of 12 of us in total from Cheshire, Lancashire, Merseyside who were all impressed with all the facilities & accommodation in the house. Just like home to home and we all would love to return in the near future Also very pleased with the shops, restaurants, especially the Imperial Palace & The Sea Shanty & of course, the beach all within minutes from the house We also did a few coastal walks. There is something for all to enjoy in Anglesey!

Good size for large families

Great house and space for a large group in a fab location.

My only comment is that outdoor lighting on the path would be good. It was v dark and we had to use torches of an evening.
