Positioned in a peaceful spot, this cabin strikes a balance between rural tranquillity and easy access to some of the region’s most popular destinations.

Inside, the space is thoughtfully arranged for comfort and practicality.

The kitchen is well equipped for everyday cooking, whether you’re preparing a quick breakfast before heading out or a hearty evening meal after a day of sightseeing.

There’s room to dine together, share plans and linger over a glass of something warming, while the living area invites you to relax with a Smart TV once the walking boots come off.

Two comfortable bedrooms – a double and a twin – provide flexible sleeping arrangements, while a fresh, well-presented shower room completes the layout.

Outside, indulge yourselves in a purpose built outside bathroom with roll top bath and breathe in the country air in your open garden space which gives you room to relax, perhaps with a morning coffee or while watching the light fade at the end of the day.

Off-road parking close by keeps arrivals and day trips simple, and with WiFi, heating, bed linen and towels included, you can focus on enjoying your time away.

The surrounding area is packed with things to see and do: Caernarfon, with its imposing castle and waterfront views, is easily reached by car; Llanberis offers lakeside walks around Llyn Padarn and access to Snowdon’s famous paths; and Bangor provides shops, cafés and cultural highlights.

Closer to home, Dinas Dinlle is about 1 mile away and offers a sandy beach, breathtaking views and a hilltop Iron Age Fort.

Whether you’re drawn to mountain scenery, historic towns or relaxed coastal days, everything is close at hand.

Glan Yr Afon is a straightforward, comfortable base for discovering the best of Gwynedd and the wider North Wales region.
