The property

Bryn Y Felin is a welcoming cottage set within Y Felinheli, Gwynedd, offering countryside views and private driveway parking for one car.

The ground-floor sleeping arrangement works well for families and friends, with two double bedrooms, a bunk room, and a bathroom featuring a bath with shower over.

A lower-ground-floor cloakroom supports busy mornings, while the reverse-level design encourages guests to come together in the living spaces as the day unfolds.

The lower ground floor hosts the kitchen, arranged around a range cooker and suited to unhurried holiday cooking.

Nearby, the kitchen/diner provides a natural place to linger over meals, with doors opening onto a balcony that draws in light and rural outlooks.

The sitting room sits alongside, where the open fire and Smart TV shape relaxed evenings filled with conversation, films, or a board game after a day exploring.

Outside, the lawned garden offers space to stretch out, and one well-behaved pet is welcome to share the break.

From the doorstep, Y Felinheli offers easy access to the Menai Strait, where waterside strolls near the marina reveal changing light across the water and passing boats.

Caernarfon lies close by, pairing its well-known castle with a lively waterfront and historic streets to wander.

Bangor provides a different pace, with coastal views from the pier, a cathedral at its centre, and plenty of spots to stop for lunch.

Further inland, Llanberis is a popular base for exploring the landscapes and heritage sites of Eryri, with lakeside routes and visitor attractions drawing people back year after year.

After full days out, Bryn Y Felin offers a familiar place to return to.
