“The cottage was clean and in a good location for beach walks and exploring nearby areas.”

However, we noticed several issues during our stay. The property is on a main road rather than being secluded as described. There were no logs provided for the fire, and instructions for heating and appliances were unclear. The lounge radiator didn’t heat up properly. In the bathroom, the bath panel was loose, there was some mould on the tiles, and the cabinet mirror was rusty. The kitchen showed signs of wear, with damp near the back door, missing panels, and some pans unsuitable for the induction hob. The oven needed cleaning, and the microwave had rust around the door. The TV worked but had a visible line on the screen. Overall, the cottage would benefit from maintenance and clearer instructions for guests.
