You can walk for miles from the door, swim on the beaches of Fairbourne and Barmouth, stroll down to the Cregennan lakes or just relax in the garden listening to the birds and the lambs. In the absence of humans, there is a definite attempt by certain other inmates to weave a web of their own around the ceilings and the corners. A quick sweep of cobwebs may be needed when nobody was in before you. But our companions all seemed very friendly and happy to relocate (temporarily I suspect) to the outdoors during our stay...
