“The approach to the property is difficult.”

The write up is misleading. There are 46 steep steps that are worn, slippery and difficult to negotiate, especially when carrying anything. The suggested parking with the permits is quite a long way away not close by and this should be made clear. There is virtually no parking near and what is available is usually occupied. The new window blinds are somewhat of a mystery to work and all 5 adults could not work them. One of the bathroom showers ran cold and another was difficult to regulate. The ...

The other facilities are excellent and we would highly recommend it if it was easier to reach.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and I’m very sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. In relation to the parking and access, these details are outlined clearly within the listing to ensure guests are fully informed prior to booking. The steps form part of the historic footpath up the Rock in Barmouth and are maintained by the local council. As noted, there is no direct vehicle access to the property, and guests are advised to use the nearby car parks. I’m sorry to hear that you experienced difficulties with the window blinds. Our contact number is provided in the guest book for any questions or issues during your stay, and we would have been more than happy to assist had we been made aware at the time. We have also checked the showers following your feedback, and everything appears to be working as expected. The guest manual also provides detailed instructions on how to put the hot water on 'boost', but If we had been contacted during your stay, we would have looked into this straight away to resolve it and help ensure you could fully enjoy your time at the property. It’s great to hear that you found the other facilities to be excellent, and we do hope we may have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future. Best wishes! Property Owner
