    “When we enter any property .”

    Whether it be sykes . Hotel room uk or abroad or villa. We always check the kettle this was so old the inside was disgusting wealso had pans tgat has residue on them. We rang owner who hot neighbour to call round . She asked tge problem we shown her the kettle her reply its a kettle . It had never been descaled it looked rusty and very unhealthy especially for people like my husband I who have low immune systems. Kettle was replaced monday The sofas were uncomfortable forever sliding off ...

Before we left we hoovered through and the hoover had a strong smell of dogs.also heating had to fathom out

We hope the replacement kettle and frying pan that we quickly replaced met your expectations, we are a dog friendly property and we place Hoover freshner in our Hoover to try and reduce the smell however I guess it doesn’t work for everyone. Thank you for your feedback as we try to make our cottage a happy place to stay in this beautiful part of the world, Regards E Phillips Property Owner

About the location

DOLGELLAU

Fairbourne 9.3 miles; Barmouth 10 miles; Aberdovey 23.2 miles.

This small, beautiful market town is located in the heart of southern Snowdonia, between the imposing Cader Idris mountain range and the sea. It’s a superb base for a holiday - perfect for combining the many outdoor pursuits on offer in Snowdonia with relaxing days out on the soft sandy beaches of Barmouth, Fairbourne and Aberdovey. The town itself offers a good selection of shops, five pubs and a wine bar, along with a number of excellent restaurants, cafes and two bakeries, that produce fresh bread and cakes each day. Dolgellau is home to over 200 listed buildings, allegedly the highest concentration in the whole of Wales, and the town is also a designated 'cycle break centre' boasting a range of dedicated cycle routes all around the area. Close by is the Coed y Brenin mountain bike trail and this location is ideal for quiet outdoor recreation with superb scenery, mountains, forests, waterfalls, castles and beaches all close to hand.
