Mrs Griffiths was a breath of fresh air.

She was kind and very welcoming. The cottage itself had everything we needed and the layout was great.The cottage was spotless and we felt at home straight away. The views were fantastic.A great way to start the day looking out to sea. So good was our stay that we have already booked for next year.

We had an amazing time at Bryn Coch.

The bungalow was spotless, beautiful situated with stunning views and great amenities. There was even a car charger! The owners were very friendly and available if we had questions or any issues, not that we had any. I would highly recommend this accommodation. We will certainly return.

A very well presented property.

Perfect for exploring North Wales. We have stayed in many rental properties over the years and this ticked all the boxes.

Returned for a second time and as good as before.

Everything you need in the cottage, all very comfortable and the view out to the sea is fantastic. Harlech and Barmouth just 20 minutes drive away and Porthmadog and Criceith an easy drive away too. Dogs love the garden.

Probably one of the nicest Sykes properties we have stayed in.

Great location. Lovely views. Good beds. Comfortable sofas. Great WiFi. Netflix. Well equipped kitchen with easy to use cooker plus air fryer. Lovely dining area with incredible views. Very impressive. The fact we've booked for next year says it all really. Thoroughly recommended. 5* all the way.

Fantastic cottage.

Had everything we needed even an air fryer. Allowed us to explore both north and south of the national park as the cottage was 20 mins drive from both. Local shops were great for every day essentials. Owners were on site but never felt imposing. View and sunsets from the patio were stunning. This definitely a home from home. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Some cottages have more but sometimes less is better as in this case.morning drink relaxing outside overlooking village cannot be over stated. 20 minute walk to the beach with bloodhound and you can go miles in either direction..bookedcagain for next year...xxx

This house is extremely clean and comfortable and the view is so calming.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our dog absolutely loved it, sitting out on the lawn looking out to sea, there are also lots of great walks in the area and plenty of books in the house giving you all the details. In all we would give this full marks for a lovely house and owners 10/10 .

Exceply clean and well maintained. Hosts were friendly and helpful. The views from the bungalow were amazing......especially the sunsets. Easy parking outside the door. All in all one of the best properties we have stayed in.

This was a lovely place with very friendly owners who we saw on arrival.

Bryn Coch Bach was amazing and they had thought of everything, the little extras were appreciated after a long drive. Peach our dog settled straight away always a good sign when she runs in and lays down to sleep.

Alma and David gave us a lovely welcome made us feel home from home. Wonderful location for touring Mid Wales. We like it so much that we have already booked for next year.

Excellent property, comfortable and very clean.

Set in beautiful landscape gardens. We had the hottest week on record, end to end sunshine, lovely quite garden to relax in, sunsets were amazing. The beds, you didn't want to get out of because you'd had a good nights sleep. A well stocked kitchen, with everything you could possibly need from cutlery to tea bag squeezer. A nice bottle of wine, and sweet cakes were left for us along with the much needed pint of milk. for that first cup of tea. Alma and David were there if you needed them, other than watering the plants and cutting the lawn, you wouldn't know they were there. Thank you for a much needed break

We enjoyed lots of walks around Barmouth Beach & Harlech Castle. Would highly recommend The Talyllyn Railway to see the waterfalls at Dolgoch. The Tilman pub and the Last Inn in Barmouth are great places to go for a drink. We had Fish & Chips from Billys and a great cure from the Saffron. Would also recommend the Hufan Artro for somewhere to eat. Hope to visit again soon from the Hemmings family :)

Amazing panoramic views to coast from this well kept bungalow.

Although attached to owners property it is very private and 5* hosts are very welcoming and on hand if needed but not intrusive. Very comfortable, well equipped and immaculately clean. A great base to explore the coast and hills and easy to travel further afield. Would love to return. Only downside is you can’t control the weather but added rain enhances the waterfalls!

I would say it is the best property we have stayed in in Barnmouth, the location was superb , the property was great , there was everything there we could want .

Barmouth only 5 miles away was an amazing place with one of the best beaches I've been on. We all had a great family holiday and enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous home from home cottage.

5 star accommodation which was very clean & well equipped.

The host is welcoming & very helpful and responded to any queries promptly. I feel she went above & beyond to make my stay comfortable. The accommodation is spacious and bright with great views . I’m glad I chose the location as it’s halfway between both Barmouth & Harlech with easy access to both yet more peaceful. The added bonus of being dog friendly and having an electric car charger made Bryn Coch Bach a real winner.

This is our 6th visit to the area, but the first time stopping at this lovely home… we visited as a couple with a 7 year old, 8 month dog and an electric vehicle.

A fabulous stay was had, lovely quiet location, wonderful views…very attentive owners. The kitchen was well equipped, living room very relaxing with stunning views which are also carried through to the kitchen/dining room. The beds were super comfortable we almost didn’t want to get out of them. Outside socket to charge our car for a small charge direct to the owners. I cannot wait to visit again. Would recommend booking meals in advance As is in Harlech is lovely.

We had excellent weather during our stay which was a bonus. We had a lovely greeting from the owners and found them to be helpful if we needed advice. The place was to a high specification and carpeted out so felt like home from home. The view from the property was exceptional. Many thanks to the owners and we hope to be able to visit again. 2nd time staying here, views are amazing, lovely clean, comfortable property with very friendly, accommodating hosts.

Got another booking for March and can't wait. Local shop/butchers stocking everything needed, walking distance within mile or so of a very nice pub and beach. Regular bus service with trains not operational at min due to bridge work in Barmouth but wasn't an issue. Would definitely recommended staying here.

Bryn Coch Bach what can we say it is Excellent in every way clean comfortable and a view to die for.

The owners Alma and David made us feel so welcome it was home from home. They were both very helpful answering any questions we had and gave us lots of useful information which made our holiday one to remember. Five miles from Barmouth Dyffryn has some lovely local shops and nice walks.

What a Fantastic place to just relax or visit places in the surrounding areas.

The welcome you get, the arrival gifts. Unbelievable. It was clean, everything you wanted. Views and we had fantastic weather. We have stayed in quite a few places and we can honestly say Bryan Coch Bach, was amazing. The view, the situation of the place for easy access to site seeing. You could not ask for anything more. As for the Owners they we’re welcoming, nothing to much trouble, helped us to find the quickest ways, and their dogs really lifted us. We just lost our Lab (Marley). Although he was with us. They are down to earth lovely people. We want to go back when we can. We have a holiday booked for next year, but we will be back. Thank you we really enjoyed it thereafter Bryan Coch Bach. ⭐️

Fantastic stay at a beautiful property with amazing views, only downside to the location for us was the hill on which the property resided was a problem for my mother, who is now in her mid 70,s .

The cottage is set in a great position halfway up a hill, with views over the village, across the farmland to the coast, well laid out cottage lots of room for 4 people.

There is a lot of folks out there that like their internet, the cottage has a very fast connection. Good location for all of North and Mid Wales, most of the tourist sites are within an hour's drive. We did not eat local as we eat while we are out , but there seems a very good choice. If you do have any problems the lovely owners Alma and David live next door.

My children and I loved every minute in this cottage.

It was very clean. It was very cosy - the beds especially were SO comfortable! The owners were very nice. It's located in a cute little village on the beach with a quick drive up to amazing mountain hikes. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend this to anyone looking to visit this area of Wales.

The bungalow was brilliant , spacious rooms , very very super king size bed , underfloor heating in all rooms ( didn't matter what the weather was doing )Commanding view of the sea from all front windows , Ample car space .Lovely surprise when we arrived .... bottle of wine , welsh butter , milk ,4 slices of mouthwatering lemon cake . And every kitchen utensil you could wish for . The owners David and Alma next door when you needed them delightful friendly people , and 2 smashing black labs . I cannot praise the owners or the holiday enough , would stay till my money ran out....................

Great host's there if need anything , but left to enjoy your holiday, lovely touches a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge plus lovely chocolate muffins even a chocolate bunny for easter. Wonderful sea views a bonus beautiful weather and spotless clean.very well equipped kitchen with utensils,fantastic all round bungalow. look forward to visiting again can't praise the accommodation enough. The owner are warm and friendly .Have stayed with them 4 times and already booked again for next year. The bungalow is ideally placed for all the attractions in Snowdonia and local beaches safe for children.

From the cottage the views were outstanding, also to be able to see the sea. The evening sunsets were beautiful. All in all a lovely cottage to stay at. Also the owners made us very welcome, and you saw them most days. Would definitely recommend this cottage. And we may return in the future.

This is quite possibly the best holiday let we have ever stayed in.

From kitchen pots and pans to glasses and cutlery, comfortable chairs and settees, beds to die for, the whole place is beyond expectations and a credit to Alma and David, the owners. The stunning views from the gardens out over the bay make this place a truly remarkable find and a place you long to return to again and again. Simply fantastic, we will definitely use this place again as we explore more of Snowdonia and this coast.

The views from this holiday home are amazing.

We received a friendly greeting from the owners on our arrival and the welcome pack in the kitchen (that included cakes and wine) was most appreciated. The bungalow itself was well equipped and clean, ideal for self-catering. Having said that, we found some excellent places to eat in nearby Barmouth. This area of North Wales is beautiful and there is lots to do: castles, railways, gardens, golf courses and fantastic beaches. We had a great time and hope to return.

This was our third visit here and are planning to return next year.

Alma and David ,the owners are very helpful and friendly, as are their two Labradors. The annexe is spacious ,spotless and well equipped. The location is fantastic with superb sea views, Just a short drive to the seaside resort Barmouth and the famous Barmouth bridge. We always enjoy a trip across the estuary by the ferry boat and walk back to Barmouth across the bridge. It's only a short walk to Dyffryn Ardudwy rail station and a short trip to Barmouth or Porthmadog at reasonable prices and a change from driving.this is our favourite Sykes cottage.

This was our 2nd time in this cottage.

We have already booked for next year which tells you everything. We love the beautiful cottage, the location -we can sit at the table & look across at the sea. The owners are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Harvey our cockaoo loves the fact Barmouth & it's doggy beach is only 5 miles away . A big success again.
