“This was our second stay at No.”

    52. Having thoroughly enjoyed our first visit in 2024 not only did we book for November 2025, but we have already booked for 2026! Just as we did last time, we felt immediately at home when we arrived. It is smart, clean, warm and comfortable and, vital in November, a cosy place to return to after a bracing trip out. Just as we did last time, we felt immediately at home when we arrived. It is smart, clean, warm and comfortable and, vital in November, a cosy place to return to after a bracing trip out. The views from the bedrooms are to be envied! Imagine waking up to those every day. Fairbourne itself has everything you could need; the sea; the views; the shop and food choices, plus the road and rail links - it's a 5 minute walk to the station and the shops. So to say we're eagerly looking forward to our third visit next year is something of an understatement. It was a privilige to stay somewhere that is just like a home from home.

Ian, many thanks for your kind words about Hafod-y-Gors. We are glad that you enjoyed your stays there and are coming back again next year. You are right about the appeal of Fairbourne, and of having a warm and comfortable place to come back to after a day out by the seaside or up on the mountains. We have some more enhancements planned for the cottage this winter, and would welcome any suggestions for improving our guests' experience. Best wishes, Mark and Theresa. Property Owner
