    “The barn is very nice, as returning guests we have visited many times as we love the location.”

    However on this occasion the WiFi was out of service from day one. It remained so for the duration of our stay. After repeated calls and messages and visits to the site office, sadly the owners were uninterested and unhelpful. We have raised a complaint with the owners head office at Lyons, sadly the staff on site could not understand why we needed WiFi, with us pointing out that the Smart TV requires it to access the streaming services? It was only our barn that was affected.

  • There is also an arcade, entertainment lounge, Ice cream parlour, fish & chip take away, convenience store which is available from April - October
  • Please be aware that the swimming pool wont be available until March 2021

The property

Cornel-Glyd is a beautiful two bedroom barn conversion, situated in a courtyard location and is one of three, in the popular seaside village of Talybont, Barmouth.

Renovated to an exceptional standard, this stylish single storey cottage provides everything you’ll need for a memorable holiday by the sea.

Oak ledge and brace doors, high ceilings with exposed beams and whitewashed walls combine and balance beautifully against the fresh and modern interior with lovely soft furnishings and fabrics.

An oak stable door welcomes you into a spacious open plan living space with leather sofas providing comfy seating for everyone at one end and an elegant white, fitted kitchen with breakfast bar at the other.

Underfloor heating throughout ensures a comfortable stay for all guests.

The stunning shower room is immaculately done with a large power shower, the marbled walls adds that touch of luxury.

The bedrooms are equally sumptuous and stylish, the main bedroom boasts a king-size bed and both enjoy sea views.

There’s a large patio area outside all very safe and secure for children.

TALYBONT

Barmouth 4 miles; Harlech 6 miles.

This popular coastal holiday village lies between one of the most picturesque resorts on the Welsh coast, Barmouth, and the World Heritage Site of Harlech, which are all surrounded by the unrivalled splendour of the Snowdonia National Park. Talybont hosts an Italian reastaurant, a riverside pub and a large sandy beach ideal for family fun. An excellent base for coastal and hill walking, cycling, sea and freshwater fishing and all watersports. The traditional seaside town of Barmouth boasts an enormous sandy Blue Flag beach, perfect for families. A variety of shops, pubs and restaurants combined with the mild climate, make this an ideal destination for a holiday, even out of season. A paradise for walkers, climbers and cyclists, Mount Cader Idris is nearby, the second highest mountain in Wales.
