“We had a lovely stay in the cottage.”

It was the perfect size and we all slept really well. The cottage was so cozy and warm, with the wood burner adding to this if we wanted it. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was new and very clean. The owners were very welcoming and left us flowers and a tasty cake on arrival. We would 100% recommend this house to anyone and can’t wait to stay again.

“My husband and myself stayed at Rhosydd Cottage the week of 20th to 27th September 2025.”

We had the most perfect holiday in beautiful surroundings. The cottage is very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay and was clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the shower wonderful. We slept in both the double bed and one of the singles and used the third bedroom for storing our case etc. The lounge sofa was also very comfortable. We didn’t use the woodburner as the weather didn’t warrant it but we did use the radiators in the early morning and late evening and were very cosy. The owner was very friendly and helpful and I cannot wait to book again as there is still much to explore in the area. Would highly recommend A++++

“We stayed here the 2nd week of our holiday with 3 children under 9.”

They were super excited as there was promise of a bunk bed from the pictires advertised. My wife and I were also very much looking forward to the location and cosiness of the accommodation. Unfortunately, there was no bunk bed. Whilst the location and surrounding is awesome, the bathroom was lovely and the beds very comfy -Kids found bacon on bedroom floor; -oven trays were greasy and the tin was peeling off them; -frying pan had silver bits showing underneath showing overuse and no non-stick layer; -used false eyes lashes in bedroom; -washing machine drawer where powder is inserted was rusty and filthy -it was jammed with old powder -the sink had remnants of food, look like soup splashes; -the cooker had food bits around it; -the smell as we entered was unclean and lived in- not fresh and clean; -a large rusty hammer had been left by garden porch- not the kind of thing you'd want a child to grab hold of and play with; All of above was informed to the owner. We had only just got there, about 1 hour in and we found these two things. It didnt reassure us. Obviously we felt awful mentioning what we had found, but left it at that. Then as we settled down and thought we would make some lunch- found the kitchen equipment and cleanliness HAD to be mentioned.

Please take a look at all other feed backs historically which have been fabulous. Its a shame you couldn't stop your children from chasing my sheep in the field which they were in, your children shouldn't have been in there with them. Also your children ripped all the flower heads off their stems, but we said nothing to you about that. As to the utensils, the ones that you brought with you from home for your personal use, when we saw them they were filthy dirty, and you have the gall to say ours were not clean. I do not understand why you have posted such cruel unfounded comments, as on the day of your departure you personally thanked profusely for a lovely holiday. Or, was that just a front prior to what you really intended to do to us. Property Owner

“We have had a wonderful week at Rhosydd Cottage.”

The cottage is comfortable and cosy with everything you need for a great holiday. The views from the patio are beautiful and it’s so peaceful all you can really hear are the sheep. The bathroom has been recently refurbished and the walk-in shower is great. Liz and Dewi are fantastic hosts and Liz’s Bara Brith is out of this world! Anglesey is beautiful and there are lots of fantastic places to visit.

We really felt at home here and managed to visit most of Anglesey as the location was perfect for exploring. The cottage had everything we needed and to a high standard with beautiful views. We cannot wait to return. There is also a Gluten Free chippy in the neighbouring village which was an extra bonus!

“This was a last minute decision to book for ten days over Christmas and New year.”

What a fabulous decision it was. Elizabeth had made the place lovely with decorations, home made Welsh cake, wine and flowers which were gratefully appreciated. The cottage is lovely, homely and we had the best break we could have and what was needed. We did very little expect enjoy the scenery from the sitting room and listening to the radio and tv in front of the roaring fire. Lovely comfortable bed and fabulous shower. Very quiet and peaceful location. There was nothing that we didn’t enjoy. Cannot thank them enough for the opportunity of the stay.

It was immaculate and the beds and furniture extremely comfortable. The shower was amazing, lots of hot water and the water pressure was fantastic. A wonderful patio with comfy furniture. I can't fault it at all. Liz, the host was so nice and was on hand if I had any questions. To sum up - a perfect cottage, in a beautiful setting. I could have stayed forever.

The property was immaculate and the views from the terrace stunning!!! The owners couldn’t do enough for us and were brilliant with our little boy (2 yrs old) letting him feed the sheep and running about on their fields. Would highly recommend and we will be returning. “What an amazing place!”

The open plan kitchen/dining/living room made everything so comfortable. The beds were really comfy & the views are so peaceful. Lovely seeing such beautiful countryside. The beautiful flowers & fruit bread (Bara Brith) made us feel very friendly welcome. Liz was an amazing host, nothing too much bother and so friendly with the children who loved hearing about all the animals they really loved picking & eating the blackberries too! It was clear that the owners took their responsibilities seriously to provide a covid secure environment for our holiday. The cottage was so clean and there were anti-viral cleaning and hygiene products supplied for our use throughout our stay. This was very re-assuring and allowed us to relax and enjoy our holiday. There's lots of beautiful coastline to visit with lots of wide open space so social distancing wasn't a problem. The owners were very helpful in recommending places we might like.

“It was the best holiday let we have stayed in on Anglesey.”

Exceptionally clean. Everything that you could need away from home. Lovely cake, tea, coffee,sugar (maybe a small milk would of been useful) and flowers on arrival. Plenty of towels and even tea cloths. Bed linen, duvets and pillows of a high quality. Mattresses on the softer side but comfortable for us. Only a double (not king) sized bed. Lighting a little dim in the lounge area for reading. Nice to have the kitchen open to the lounge so all were together. This made a large area. The best part of all was the huge decking which was on a slight incline so gave lovely views over the surrounding fields. There was a large decking table and chairs with comfortable cushions. We spent many an hour sat outside listening to the bird song. It is very private. Plenty of easy parking. A ramp to the main door and a very small step over the door to the decking. I am disabled and on two crutches and found getting around very easy. A large bathroom. The only problem I had was I could not get up out of the sofa and there really was not enough room for 6 people (4 okay) to sit on there. I solved that by taking in one of the decking chairs and pushing the sofa back so it fitted in near the fireplace. It worked well. It is a country cottage and I would suggest a car to get around. It is only 2-3 miles from a shop and the beach. There is a caravan and camping park in the next field but we never heard anything from there except a few children playing now and again. This really is a lovely peaceful cottage. The owners are very nice and live across the driveway but are not intrusive at all but willing to help if needed. Myself and my family said we would certainly go back here to stay.

BRYNTEG

Benllech and Red Wharf Bay 2.5 miles; Moelfre 4 miles.

Brynteg is a small rural village close to the wonderful coastline of the lovely Isle of Anglesey. The village has a pub, and is home to the Storws Wen golf course, which also boasts a restaurant open to the public. Only 2.5 miles away is the seaside resort of Benllech, which has a beautiful long and sandy beach, much favoured by families, with a slipway allowing easy access for all, whilst Red Wharf Bay offers miles of sand (when the tide is out) and provides wonderful scenic walks and an excellent inn, in which to wine and dine afterwards. The setting promises to suit every taste; the town is ideal for family holidays, whilst the rural setting offers peace and easy access to the coast, rural Anglesey and of course the spectacular mountains of Snowdonia.
