1) There was no firewood which it said was there and no place in the town sold it
2) The heating was odd as it was cool downstairs and hot upstairs
3) The on suite shower tray was semi blocked and would have flooded if we had 2 showers quickly
4) The telly didn't work except on iplayer.”
I phoned the owner who didn't ring back so I phoned 2 hours later. Someone then rang me back and tried to talk me through it but said it was broken. I then had no more assistance so no tv for the holiday

Regarding the firewood, we apologise for the inconvenience this caused. Firewood is normally provided, and it’s clear we fell short on this occasion. We will be reviewing our preparation procedures to ensure this does not happen again.
Thank you also for highlighting the heating imbalance between floors. We understand how this can affect comfort, and we will be asking our heating engineer to investigate and make adjustments so the system works more evenly throughout the property.
We are sorry to hear about the partially blocked shower tray. This should not have been the case, and we have since had a plumber attend to fully clear and check the drainage.
As for the television, the property is equipped with BBC iPlayer facilities rather than Freeview channels. However, your feedback has highlighted that some guests prefer to have Freeview available as well. We are always looking for ways to improve our guests’ holiday experience, so we have now taken steps to upgrade the television service to include Freeview channels. This will ensure that future guests do not encounter the same issue.
