“Beautiful spacious house and fully enclosed safe garden for our dog.”

Spotlessly clean, all mod cons, everything thought about to make a perfect stay, beautiful area for walks straight from the front door, comfy beds, very generous welcome gifts including doggie treats, very cosy and warm snug. Spotlessly clean, all mod cons, everything thought about to make a perfect stay, beautiful area for walks straight from the front door, comfy beds, very generous welcome gifts including doggie treats, very cosy and warm snug. Unfortunately there were a few minor things that didn’t spoil our holiday but we feel worth mentioning….fast and noisy but not busy, main road, bathroom vent made a lot of noise in the wind and the cover fell off and startled us, hot tub not hot enough to stay in over 15 mins as it was already set (owner did say they would change it but it involved taking the side off the tub. We didn’t feel we could ask them to do that as it would be such a bother, they mentioned health and safety). Draughty front door (couldn’t get warm in the kitchen area) as the wind came straight through. Although it states dog friendly, we didn’t realise that dogs were not allowed in the bedrooms or on the furniture, and we spent a lot of time and stress making sure rules were obeyed. (She’s allowed at home). The doors to the bedrooms and snug didn’t click shut so our dog could push them open, which was not relaxing for us. Overall these things are minor issues and didn’t effect our holiday. it was a lovely house to stay in and we really enjoyed our time in Refail Fach.

Thank you so much for your kind comments,we are very glad that you enjoyed your time at Refail Fach. We are sorry that you felt that the hot tub wasn’t as hot as you would have liked but as I explained all hot tub’s are the same and will only go as high as 40C and will never exceed this as it’s factory-configured to make it impossible to turn it higher (this was the health and safety comment) but it was minus 4 and snowing which probably didn’t help We ask guests not to allow dogs in the bedrooms for the comfort of all guests this is bought to guests attention in the cottage description before booking ,not everyone who stay have dogs but dogs are welcome in the rest of the house. Thank you for bringing to my attention that the door to the lounge and bedroom can be pushed open i will get them seen to.I am so glad that these minor issues didn’t affect your stay and that you really enjoyed your visit Property Owner
