Arrival is along quiet country lanes where you pull into your own private driveway and pause to appreciate the character of the stone exterior, with shared gardens stretching out beyond and open views that, on clear days, draw the eye towards the distant outline of Snowdonia.
A gentle ramp leads inside and into a welcoming hallway, immediately establishing a sense of ease as everything unfolds on one level, before opening into an open-plan living space that feels light, orderly, and instantly inviting, encouraging you to set bags down, hang up coats, and ease into holiday mode.
The sitting and dining area is thoughtfully arranged for time together, whether that is settling into the Chesterfield sofa after a day outdoors or gathering around the dining table for meals, games, and conversation, with evenings naturally spent here as the electric stove casts a warm glow and the Smart TV provides relaxed entertainment, all within a layout that keeps everyone connected.

Both bedrooms are set on the same level, continuing the effortless flow of the cottage, with the king-size bedroom offering a restful retreat at the end of the day and the twin room providing flexible sleeping for children, friends, or additional family members, all conveniently located close to the shower room and living space for relaxed mornings and evenings.
Outside once more, the communal gardens offer a pleasant spot to sit and unwind as the day draws to a close, perhaps enjoying the changing light across the surrounding countryside, while nearby shops and a pub are easily reached by car, keeping daily essentials simple.

Lovely lodge, very peaceful.
BUT here are the problems. Oven not working properly as could not see temperature settings. Shower cubicle black mould in corner. Curtain rails need cleaning as hard to pull together. No information of doctor, dentist etc in lodge. Fire extinguisher partly hidden behind settee. No spares ie batteries, light bulbs etc. No milk or any other useful items when arriving. Sorry to say lodge being neglected.
Lovely stay here caravan is very large and comfortable and clean We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it we will return
