    “Property is well equipped and was spotlessly clean.”

    We loved the large sofa, the desk area (work does not stop completely, unfortunately) and the views out to sea. It was also nice to be able to be somewhere quiet (we didn’t hear any neighbour noise at all) but still close enough to be able to walk to shops, cafe, pub / bar. The fixtures, furnishing, pots, pans, glasses etc were all new - showing that someone has consciously chosen to set the house up well, rather than fill it with used items. If I was being super-picky, suggestions for ...

    We loved the large sofa, the desk area (work does not stop completely, unfortunately) and the views out to sea. It was also nice to be able to be somewhere quiet (we didn’t hear any neighbour noise at all) but still close enough to be able to walk to shops, cafe, pub / bar. The fixtures, furnishing, pots, pans, glasses etc were all new - showing that someone has consciously chosen to set the house up well, rather than fill it with used items. If I was being super-picky, suggestions for minor improvements would be: - clearer instructions on recycling (which contents go into which boxes - I think I worked it out but only by looking at someone else’s recycling boxes which had labels on them) - notes on the heating system / timer arrangements / how to apply short bursts of heating when needed - we weren’t able to get the smart TV in the lounge to connect to the WiFi system, meaning that we weren’t able to use e.g. Netflix. But those are all trivial points and we had a lovely few days; would definitely consider coming back.

Families can enjoy a fun-filled day out at the nearby Greenwood Family Park, or venture to the Isle of Anglesey and discover the delights of Beaumaris, including its historic castle and pier, before picking up a portion of chips from Neptunes bar and wandering along the seafront.

History lovers can spend an afternoon exploring Caernarfon Castle, whilst the whole family will appreciate seeing the animals at Foel Farm Park.

However you decide to fill your time, a break at Argoed has lots to look forward to.

Bangor 3 miles; Caernarfon 5 miles; Llanberis 6 miles.

Y Felinheli, formerly know as Port Dinorwic, is situated on the beautiful Menai Strait between the historic town of Caernarfon and the cathedral city of Bangor. Home to a small, established yachting marina with an interesting lock (allowing boats to enter or leave before cruising down the Straits to the open sea), this small village also has a couple of pubs, a restaurant and cafe in the dock area, a shop and Post Office, a beautician, a hairdresser and several great restaurants on the nearby Island of Anglesey. Visitors to this lovely region are spoilt for choice, with stunning Snowdonia, the beautiful Llyn Peninsula, or the sandy beaches of the Isle of Anglesey all within easy reach.
