    “This was our 3rd visit to Delfryd, it is such a pleasure to stay here and our stays each November are very much looked forward to.”

    The house is spacious, warm, well furnished, clean and extremely well equipped for a comfortable and happy stay. The location is just perfect sat on the Menai Straits with ever changing views, no matter the weather. Everything in the village is a short walk away, for example, Swellies on the Marina and the Garddfon Inn, which is cosy and welcoming and serves amazing Sunday lunch. There are walks nearby and short car trips will take you to nearby Towns, villages and Anglesey. The local bus ...

    The house is spacious, warm, well furnished, clean and extremely well equipped for a comfortable and happy stay. The location is just perfect sat on the Menai Straits with ever changing views, no matter the weather. Everything in the village is a short walk away, for example, Swellies on the Marina and the Garddfon Inn, which is cosy and welcoming and serves amazing Sunday lunch. There are walks nearby and short car trips will take you to nearby Towns, villages and Anglesey. The local bus service is also excellent. We cannot fault Delfryd at all and have already booked for next year. A big thank you to the owners for sharing thus lovely home with us.

A welcoming, reverse-level terrace cottage found within the sailing port village of Y Felinheli, Delfryd makes a delectable choice for a coastal break to Wales with your loved ones.

End the evening unwinding in one of the plush sofas while the Smart TV provides your entertainment for an hour or two, or sit out in the shared garden soaking in the last of the sun for a truly memorable evening with your loved ones.

Sitting within the village of Y Felinheli, the cottage is ideally placed for an action-packed stay, with a range of amenities just a short stroll away from your doorstep; find a good choice of eateries such as pubs and restaurants, La Marina being particularly popular for its fresh seafood, as well as a Post Office and local store where you can pick up any picnic essentials for a fun-filled day on the beach, with a plethora of golden sands in easy reach to take your pick from!

Spend a day on the historic Isle of Anglesey soaking in its beauty, with Beaumaris being the perfect place to begin your adventure where you can relax on the beach before taking a walk along the pier to find fantastic attractions such as The Old Court House Museum and Beaumaris Gaol, while a trip over to Puffin Island via a Seacoast Safaris is a must to see the beautiful marine life of the area.

Y Felinheli, formerly know as Port Dinorwic, is situated on the beautiful Menai Strait between the historic town of Caernarfon and the cathedral city of Bangor. Home to a small, established yachting marina with an interesting lock (allowing boats to enter or leave before cruising down the Straits to the open sea), this small village also has a couple of pubs, a restaurant and cafe in the dock area, a shop and Post Office, a beautician, a hairdresser and several great restaurants on the nearby Island of Anglesey. Visitors to this lovely region are spoilt for choice, with stunning Snowdonia, the beautiful Llyn Peninsula, or the sandy beaches of the Isle of Anglesey all within easy reach.
