    “On arrival we found several issues with the property, including the radiator in the ensuite hanging off the wall, incorrect TV instructions, part of the slatted blind in the bedroom on the floor, and the fridge needing further cleaning.”

    There were also fingerprints on the glass coffee table and patio doors. The table and chairs were unstable when used, and a bag of laundry had been left in the hall. We also struggled with the settee leg rest, which then wouldn’t go down again. Although the radiator, TV and table and chairs were fixed during our stay, we decided to return home early. There were additional issues such as a shattered glass panel on the balcony and workmen drilling at the adjoining property. While the new ...

While the new bathroom is very nice, we felt the rest of the property is now quite tired. We have stayed here five times, and the toaster has only ever worked on one side, and we noticed some chipped crockery. As my husband is disabled and we mainly come for the view and to relax, this stay was extremely disappointing.

Y Felinheli, formerly know as Port Dinorwic, is situated on the beautiful Menai Strait between the historic town of Caernarfon and the cathedral city of Bangor.
