“1. The downstairs bathroom extractor fan blows inwards, not outwards.”

    2. Shower heat control is Cold, Warm or Hot. Very dangerous as I found out 3. Rear bedroom balcony door difficult to lock. 4. Living room patio doors very difficult to lock and to open. 5. The living room sofas are tired and don't offer much in the way of support. Otherwise we had a very pleasant stay.

Thank you for your comments and we are sorry to hear of the issues you have listed. If you had contacted us during your stay we could have given you instructions to assist, referred you to the information folder at the house, or even arranged to attend the property to help you resolve where possible. However, taking each of your points in turn: The downstairs extractor fan is wired correctly to extract air but even with an outside flap to prevent breezes coming into the bathroom the winds on Anglesey do overcome it on occasion I’m afraid, which is why we installed thermostatically controlled towel rails in both bathrooms over winter to help to keep the temperature constant. Both showers in the property are new and chosen for ease of use. The upstairs shower, being gravity fed, can easily be temperature adjusted using the lever control (with the shower being brand new in autumn last year). The downstairs shower is electric and needs to be fine tuned to individual needs using both the temperature and flow controls, and again was newly installed in autumn 2025 so we are surprised if this caused you a problem. All exterior doors were checked and adjusted in January 2026 to ensure they could all be easily opened and relocked, so our apologies if any of the doors caused you a problem during your stay. They are also of course regularly checked by our housekeeper, so we have asked her to look at each of them again this weekend. The sofas we do feel are a personal choice. We personally spent a month in the property during January and found them to be comfortable, but we will monitor other guest comments and consider changing them if others feel they are uncomfortable. Thank you again for your comments. Property Owner
