“Great apartment in perfect location the whole of Caemas Bay.”

Very clean and comfortable. Just a couple of comments, not criticism, the advert would be best to state 2 double beds. When I booked it said sleeps 4, 1 double bed. So I assumed 1 double ans 2 single. The holiday was for me, my son and grandson but we managed. Only 1 bulb in kitchen light fitting so we had to move the floor lamp from lounge when sitting at dining table in the evening. Could benefit from new toilet brush and a clothes horse to dry beach towels etc on the balcony. Overall a ...

“Absolutely amazing stay with my husband and 2 daughters and we will definitely be returning.”

We only had 1 small issue with facilities and that is whe we arrived the door handle on one of bedrooms is loose and we was wary of been locked in therefore we had to leave our bedroom door open all the time. All previous reviews also mention the downstairs smell b4 u actual enter into the apartment is foisty. These did not spoil our stay and we will definitely be rebooking. The welcome pack was a really nice special touch too.

“Lovely flat, but several important issues.”

The emergency phone no. for Jordleen is invalid, fortunately, there was a sheet in the folder with a second no. for Ceinwen which was answered. I rang as we could not open the balcony door, but was assured we could use force and it was Okay, The dishwasher had standing water in it, so decided not to use, as it may have a problem: also the door panel is coming away and fouling the plinth. The wall heater in the larger bedroom is very close to falling off the wall and the curtain rail is insecure with a missing finial, which is I assume is why the bed was made up in the smaller room where the drawers and wardrobe are very difficult to access. There were extra pillows but no pillow cases . A shame that these issues detract from a lovely flat. We took chairs and tea cloths etc as suggested by previous visitors, but a few cleaning cloths / scourers etc would be useful perhaps then people would clean off baking trays!

“Had a good week at the Riverview Appartment, the property was clean and tidy, and reasonably well equipped.”

The welcome hamper was a nice touch. There are however some issues, most of which have been mentioned in previous reviews, ie: sinking floor in the lounge, no patio furniture etc. but the thing that worried me most of all, is the big step down from the lounge into the kitchen (there needs to be some signage to make people aware) I'm very fit, active and mobile, but it caught me out once or twice. That said I would probably recommend the property.

“This is a great apartment in a fantastic location.”

It was spotlessly clean and there was a lovely welcome food package waiting for us upon arrival. We could park out front to unload and load our car, and the main car park was a convenient very short walk away. The beach was close, as were the local shops, amenities and pubs. It was super value for money and we would love to go back sometime.

“A lovely apartment in the perfect location to explore Cemaes.”

Very clean and comfortable and the views from the balcony were great. It would be good to have some outdoor furniture to sit and enjoy the views, so do remember to take your own chairs! It did feel a little open without a lock on the internal door leading to the living area as this door went straight out onto the stairs. Not a major issue but maybe something that would make it feel a little more safe and secure - especially for those with kids. We couldn’t find a cheese grater and also no instructions on what to do with our rubbish on departure in terms of recycling so we just left ours in the bin bag next to the back door. Parking was a couple of minutes walk away in the free car park so no issues there. Although the shower control is loose, it had no impact on the shower - in fact it is a really good one! We avoided the sinking floorboard as much as possible as it did feel it could go through at any point! Overall, a lovely stay and we will certainly be back - just a few tweak needed to take it to 5 star.

“We enjoyed our stay in this bright, clean apartment and appreciated the generous welcome hamper.”

The kitchen was well equipped in most respects - plenty of cutlery, mugs and glasses - but only 4 large plates, 4 small plates and 4 bowls, and also lacking was any kind of bowl/container suitable for use in the microwave. There was no furniture for sitting out on the balcony so you can't make the most of the view over the river. Unusually no hairdryer was provided. The maintenance issues noted by a previous reviewer, regarding the shower and a floorboard in the living room have not been addressed and additionally the wall lights didn't work. Overall a good place to stay but would benefit from attention to detail.

“Large, light and airy apartment in the centre of the village.”

Convenient for shops, pubs, walks, harbour etc. Great base to explore Anglesey and Holy Island from. Locals all very friendly. Three very small points to report - on/off shower control needs tightening - floorboard in front of settee facing fireplace has sunk/broken which could be a hazard for someone elderly or unsteady on their feet - Venetian blind in master bedroom is faulty when being pulled up (central clip and string appear to be broken). Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would return to this lovely property.

“More bin bags as there was only one, no instructions as to what to do with the full bin bag and no hoover or brush to clean up after ourselves.”

Apartment was very clean bright and very comfortable. Loved the welcome pack with bread and milk included. Would highly recommend, would love to stay again

“The property was great .”

Fantastic location, spotlessly clean and very spacious even a welcome hamper on arrival from a wonderful host. I would definitely stay here again though I wouldn't ever book through sykes again . I wanted to add a night to the two already booked. When checking on line a month before travel it was available I sent several messages and rang sykes numerous times all with no response. When eventually making contact there was no longer availability to add the night Such a shame as the host is fantastic but sykes were very poor.

“Apartment is lovely, spotlessly clean but we had problems with the TV, no Freeview and all other channels needed registering, contacted the landlady and she sent her brother.”

He eventually got 2 channels working and said he would come back to sort the rest.....he didn't! Two very large steps into the kitchen and balcony which we didn't know about and could be a problem for some people. All this aside it is a lovely apartment.
