With plenty of amenities nearby, the White Lion Hotel pub resting next door, this pet-friendly property is ideal for a group of friends or a large family, looking for a break away in the heart of North Wales.

With plenty of parking available in the rear pub car park, unload your belongings with ease, before heading in through the side access.

Be welcomed into the homely sitting room, with plush seating to sink into after a day of travelling, offering the perfect spot to relax and gather around the woodburning stove with a hot cup of tea in hand.

Moving into the kitchen/diner, a fully-equipped space for a self-catered stay, where you can prepare meals, keep on top of your washing, and dine as a group over a bottle of wine; if the sun is shining, throw open the patio doors and dine alfresco in the enclosed courtyard, before heading to the pub for a late-night tipple.

When you’re ready for some rest, select between six well-appointed bedrooms, including two double size rooms, one of which benefits from an en-suite, two twin bedrooms, one also featuring an en-suite, and two single rooms, with two additional single beds on offer for flexibility; the home is complete with a bathroom for convenience.

If you’re hoping for a night off from cooking, dine out at a local restaurant, or if you fancy dusting off your recipe books, stock up on the essentials from the village shop.

Further afield, in the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, is the nearby market town of Bala, which offers a vibrant atmosphere with plenty of opportunities for horse riding, watersports upon Llyn Tegid, and the famous National White-Water Centre, which is great for those seeking an adrenaline rush.

Alternatively, visit the delightful village of Betws-y-Coed, home to stunning waterfalls, forests and a selection of independent shops, art galleries, and cafés, along with the popular attraction of Zip World, a must for sporting enthusiasts, or aim for the centre of Conwy, with its historical landmarks, and riverside position.
