“We recently spent a week in this beautiful house over looking the sea, with a group of 12 people and 2 dogs.”

Our first impression was the incredible amount of space we had, and our stay was absolutely wonderful. Location – It couldn’t have been better. Our first impression was the incredible amount of space we had, and our stay was absolutely wonderful. Location – It couldn’t have been better. Just steps from the beach, with stunning sea views from the front facing bedrooms and the second floor living room. It was bliss hearing the sound of the waves as you stepped out the front door. The beach, castle, and a lovely café serving delicious ice cream were all right on the doorstep. The House – The property was wonderful and designed for larger groups. There were plenty of comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, so everyone had their own space without ever feeling crowded. The property had an open plan ground floor living room, dining area with a table that sat 10, was ideal for gathering together, and the 2nd large dining tables in the kitchen that also sat 10. The cottage style kitchen had the cosy, traditional feel you’d expect and quickly became the hub of activity. The Kitchen – Fully equipped with everything we needed. Modern appliances, plenty of cookware, a large refrigerator plus additional smaller fridge and also freezers. Give us ample space for food shopping. The dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, and washing machine all worked well. The Garden – We visited in February, so we didn’t spend time in the garden. However, it was observed that it could benefit from a spring tidy up. That said, it was fully enclosed, making it safe for the dogs. Maintenance – The showers were warm, and even with 12 people, we never ran out of hot water. We did have a small issue with the heating, but a quick message to the owner resolved it promptly, and we were comfortable for the rest of our stay. Overall – We all had an amazing stay. The location and the generous internal space comfortably accommodated 12 people and 2 dogs. We’ve already looked into booking again! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The property

Located on the beachfront promenade with coastal views looking out to the sea and hills ,11 Marine Terrace is a four-storey Victorian property with seemingly endless rooms, decorated with care and quality to be enjoyed in this lovely seaside town of Criccieth.

Perfectly suited for hosting a family gathering this property has seven bedrooms sleeping fifteen people, so why not start planning that reunion you've always talked about! At the front of the house is the sitting room overlooking the sea, with large bay windows adorned with wooden shutters adding character and privacy to this large building.

An electric flame-effect fire will warm you on a colder day, and the plush seating arrangement will invite you in to nestle down in front of a film on the Smart TV.

For those more adventurous there is the chance to ‘win the cup ‘on the table football French Doors lead out onto the Decking area at the rear of the property.

Passing through the dining area and into the kitchen you will love the farmhouse-style breakfast table in the centre where you can all gather around with your morning teas and coffee.

The country-style kitchen units with oak work top, large kitchen table and AGA cooker will be a joy to use when you are cooking up a large family meal in the evening, hopefully with some help!

There is also a built in Dishwasher and Wine Chiller in the kitchen to help take the strain.

Just off the kitchen is the utility containing more work top,a microwave, separate fridge and freezer and a washing machine.
