    “The house is in a great location for exploring Criccieth and the surrounding area.”

    It is spacious and warm and has a welcoming feel. The conservatory is a bonus at this time of year (October) as you get the brightness without being outside. A few things prevent me giving a 5 star review, mainly insufficient crockery and cutlery (especially mugs) for 8 people, also no toilet paper, washing up liquid, cleaning products etc provided. These issues have all been raised by previous guests but not been addressed.

    It is spacious and warm and has a welcoming feel. The conservatory is a bonus at this time of year (October) as you get the brightness without being outside. Often described as the 'Pearl of Wales on the shores of Snowdonia’, now known as Eryri, this delightful seaside town is situated just 5 miles from Porthmadog. The town’s 13th-century castle perches majestically on a rocky outcrop, dominating the skyline and offering superb views of Tremadog Bay and the Eryri mountains. Watersports enthusiasts will be delighted by the two beaches, whilst walkers and bikers are spoilt for choice by the proximity of the beautiful Eryri National Park. Stroll along the beaches, watch porpoises playing in the surf, or relax in the various pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, sampling the famous Cadwalader’s ice cream. Further afield, attractions such as Portmeirion’s wonderful Italianate gardens, the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway in Porthmadog, Harlech Castle, Caernarfon Castle and the beautiful beaches and renowned golf courses of the Llyn Peninsula are all within an easy drive.
