“Fantastic apartment in the perfect location to enjoy all Criccieth has to offer, felt more spacious than photos suggested and was spotlessly clean.”
Comfortable sofa and beds, well equipped kitchen and superb shower. But the best thing about the property has to be the swivel chair in the lounge with the Bay View, delightful watching the world go by. We made use of the local facilities from the beach for daily (sometimes twice daily!) dog walks, the bakery regularly and butchers along with other High Street shops, the café at the end of the road for breakfast a couple of times, Cadwalader's for an ice cream treat, bargain midweek meal at the Prince of Wales, Sunday roast at the Lion Inn, Chinese takeaway, fish and chip supper the day we arrived from the Castle Fish and Chip shop and a family meal at Dylan's - all delicious, with such variety and all had friendly, engaging staff. We did manage to drag ourselves away a couple of times to search out castles other than Criccieth, at Harlech, Conwy, Caernafon and Beaumaris; did a 4.5 mile walk (from the book in the apartment) around Llanbedrog and had a day out in Barmouth as well as popping into Portmadog a few times for the Tesco and Purple Moose Brewery shop. We so enjoyed our week at Bay View, really didn't want to leave and would love to return one day; thank you for the bottle of fizz, much appreciated. Just to say we added a menu for the Chinese and a couple of attraction leaflets to the information folder, hope that was okay.
