“Great location and lots of space.”

Very clean. Recommend but it would be better to have these things: Dab radio in kitchen. One there very old, not dab and doesn't work well at all. More/better kitchen stuff - no baking trays, just a 2 slice toaster - recommend getting a 4 slice one, bigger cups, only 1 frying pan - need more. Peeler was terrible and needs repalcing. We forgot to take ours so had to struggle with it. It was OK and manageable for us as a couple but a larger group might struggle to make meals with what's there. The ...

We forgot to take ours so had to struggle with it. It was OK and manageable for us as a couple but a larger group might struggle to make meals with what's there. The 2 TVs are old and need updating to smart ones. Overall we enjoyed staying there and would recommend it to others. Even ok for larger groups but I would advise they pack kitchen stuff to make up for the limited things. However, things would be better with some addition and changes as above.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback. We're pleased to hear that you found the property clean and spacious, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your observations with us.Regarding the radio, we weren't aware of any previous issues, so thank you for bringing it to our attention. We're considering purchasing a new one to ensure it meets our guests' needs. We also understand your point about the baking trays. They tend to wear out with frequent use, and I’ve already arranged for new ones to be placed in the property. As for the toaster, we initially provided a 2-slice model which has so far been adequate, but we’re happy to replace it with a 4-slice option for added convenience. We’ll also be adding another pan and peeler, as we agree that these are important for larger groups. Additionally, a new TV is being delivered tomorrow, so we hope this will enhance the overall experience for future stays.Once again, thank you for your constructive feedback. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay, and we hope to welcome you back in the future. Property Owner

The property

A fantastic, modern, detached Criccieth cottage on a cul-de-sac in the centre of the town, with views to the beach and sea from the front of the property, and of Criccieth Castle to the side.

This Criccieth cottage has been tastefully furnished and offers spacious accommodation, while outside, open lawned gardens and a patio area are ideal for relaxing and enjoying the sunshine while the children play.

Criccieth has two superb beaches, one within 100 metres of this Criccieth cottage, which is perfect for swimming, watersports and rock-pooling, and if you are lucky, you may spot one of the visiting dolphins who enjoy the warm gulf stream that flows along this beautiful coast.

Situated on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, Criccieth is a delightful town with an array of shops, pubs and restaurants on your doorstep, as well as Criccieth Castle which was built in the 13th century and dominates the landscape on its rocky perch at one end of the town.

Other local attractions include the world-famous village of Portmeirion, the Italianate village where The Prisoner was filmed, or Porthmadog, home of the Ffestiniog Railway - an old steam train that takes you high into the Snowdonia range.

This Criccieth cottage is ideal for a family getaway, all year round.
