The cottage is generally well appointed and although the site doesn’t list a washing machine, there is one in a modern looking utility room. (Not that you’ll want to glue yourself to a screen when you can relax and watch life go about its business in the valley around you). Walkers should be aware that some of the rights of way on the OS map are impassable, including the one next to the cottage. There are however other unlisted county trails and bridleways around the valley, (one behind the cottage) to keep you exploring, horse trekking or mountain biking to your heart’s content.
