Ffynnon Bach

We had a great stay at Ffynnon Bach.

The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for a family of four. The owners were very friendly and our children enjoyed seeing the horses and playing in the fields. Great for a short stay and close to Snowdon and surrounding area. Lovely and peaceful too.

Great stay in a lovely house, beautifully clean,maintained and well equipped.

Beds comfy. Shower great. Only downside was the living room very dark and cool as it got no sun ( it will be perfect in summer ) whatsoever. And the garden is not attached to house, which had I looked more closely at photos I would have seen, so not safe to let dog out as a working farm. There are however plenty of fields around to walk and toilet . Also Sharron knocked to let us know when we could let dog off in her field as horses moved. Would gladly stay here again. Oh yeah easy to find with sat nav.

A lovely cottage in a perfect location for walking in Eryri.

Spacious but cosy and there are walks straight from the door. Everything you could want for a comfortable stay in this stunning area.

It was clean and tidy, had everything we needed, and easily accessible. It was comfortable enough and spacious for 2 people. The owners were friendly and left information within the property advising of information we may need to know. Perfect location for where we wanted to visit. Just a shame the views cant be seen from the property itself. Thank you

Ffynnon Bach is a stunning holiday home.

The location is beautiful and the home itself is so warm, homely and very well equipped. The Christmas tree was a lovely touch. Thank you so much. My parents had a great time and we all had a great Christmas.

The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, perfect for exploring the stunning nature of Snowdonia. Sharon is a kind and welcoming host, always helpful and attentive. A perfect place for anyone looking for peace, nature, and authenticity.

Very comfortable cottage on a lovely farm in beautiful surroundings.

The hosts were charming and helpful.

We have stayed here now on numerous occasions and really love it.

Perfect for walking and cycling. Murray and Sharron are wonderful hosts. Just one small suggestion....a couple of smaller ovenproof dishes would be really helpful. We look forward to returning next year.

Lovely comfortable house, well equipped kitchen, everything we would need & lovely location.

The only small criticism would be no lock on bathroom door, as staying with friends a lovk would have been good. Floor boards very cricky upstairs which was noisy when getting up in the night.

We had a three night holiday in this lovely cottage.

Everything about it was gorgeous. The cottage is surrounded by amazing views of the country side and is perfectly positioned to explore north wales. The cottage its self is super clean and comfortable with everything you need. We were a family of 2 adults, 2 children (12 and 8) and a dog. There was plenty of room for us all. There was nothing that could have been better! We had the best time and miss it already. Thank you for having us.

The views and walks were truly perfect and the cottage was lovely to come back to at the end of the day. The hosts were friendly and happy to help if we needed anything. We will definitely book again.

We had a lovely weeks stay.

The cottage was beautiful and in a nice location over looking fields and streams with horses. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. We had a working fire and was provided with wood to use which was a nice touch and the kitchen had all the essentials we needed. We would definitely come back again. Thank you

Fabulous cottage- had everything we needed for a family of four.

Lovely comfy beds and a comfy sofa (which we have found is not a given in rental properties). Our two children (age 8 & 4) loved saying good morning to the horses every day, especially the foal born the day we arrived, and the hosts were really kind to them when they did! The cottage was beautiful and very well equipped for all of our needs.

The beds are very comfy and we still can't quite believe how quiet it was at night (so peaceful). We had two young children with us and they both said they want to come back. Being so close to the horses and situated in the countryside was just wonderful. It is the perfect distance from so many lovely places you would want to visit when staying. We will definitely be coming back.

The cottage is absolutely beaitiful and I loved all the little touches that made it a home from home - blankets, pictures, ornaments etc.

I really appreciated the friendliness and availability of the owner while still giving us space to enjoy our break away. The welcome bottle of wine and scones were a lovely touch and both were delicious. We have used Sykes Cottages a few times in the past and we are always impressed. Will definitely be using them again - a company I feel I can really trust.

The cottage was clean, very comfortable with all the amenities and more required.

The rain shower was especially welcomed as was the bottle of wine on arrival. The views from the cottage are spectacular on a clear day. Perfect location for walking and sightseeing. Lots of National Trust properties and gardens within a max. 30 min drive, Plas Newydd, Bodnant Gardens, Penhryn Castle as well as the Welsh Highland Railway and Slate Museum in Llanberis.

Superb cottage set amongst a beautiful landscape and backdrop in the Welsh hills.

The cottage has everything we needed, well equipped and clean. 10 mins drive from llanberis and around 15 mins from Anglesey (Menai Bridge).

We found the cottage to be a perfect base for our North Wales adventures - seemed to be no more than 30 mins from everywhere! The cottage was modern, clean, all appliances we needed, cool (critical for when we stayed - the heatwave!) and in a beautiful location where the dogs felt safe and really enjoyed chatting with the other animals. We will definitely be booking regularly again.

Whilst we didn't meet hosts they were exceptionally helpful & didn't hesitate in allowing us to arrive at 11 pm and I know if needed they would of been on hand instantly. Great location for the mountains, we just wished we could have stayed longer!

We had a lovely stay at Ffynnon Bach, the owners were lovely and made sure we had everything we needed before our stay (e.

g. got a highchair out for our son) Our little boy absolutely loved meeting the animals, our dog too! The cottage itself was beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and fresh milk in the fridge. We loved the recliners and being able to relax with the log burner on. Plenty of facilities in the kitchen for cooking/preparing food. Bedrooms nicely presented and comfortable too. There was a selection of games available too.

Excellent break here last summer.

Perfect location with views from the property, horses on site. Walks from the doorstep. Friendly hosts. Internally property was lovely and warm, beds comfy. Perfect little retreat. Close to all local amenities. We had to leave a day early - and so rushed off without saying a proper thank you to hosts. Sorry.

The cottage was beautiful, spotless clean , very well equipped, surroundings stunning, Sharon the host made you feel very welcome, and gave us a bottle of wine, milk in the fridge on arrival, and beautiful flowers in the cottage, a wonderful holiday had by all.

Lovely cottage with a well laid out open plan kitchen and lounge.

Bedrooms are comfortable and main bedroom has a second tv. Helpful and friendly owners. Dogs welcome, although the garden is separate to the cottage and small dogs would be able to get out so had to keep ours on the lead. Location is centrally located for easy access to all of Snowdonia areas. A wonderful stay here.

Our week away was perfect, the location is excellent for short trips by car to many sought after locations.

The owners are very welcoming and made us and our pooch feel at home. The cottage is spacious, clean, comfortable, well equipped and the log burner was just what we needed after long walks. We would 100% recommend and would love to return in the future. Thank you!

Cottage is very comfortable , contemporary and set in wonderful settings of North Wales with breathtaking views.

There are lots of ponies on the farm. Sharon and Murray are wonderful and friendly hosts. Looking at our daughters interest, Sharon also offered her an opportunity for Pony ride and to feed them. Thanks to Jessica for the ride. Cottage is well located to visit Llanberis , places in the National park and also costal towns within easy drive. There are some lovely walks / hikes around too . We had fabulous week long stay and would certainly look to return.

The owners were very friendly, we had the added bonus of seeing the lovely ponies in the surrounding fields. Its also a great base just to walk out from.

The cottage was set in a beautiful location with brilliant views of the mountains. A short drive from Llanberis, It was very well equipped. I'd asked if a coffee maker was available for use when phoning the week before. The owner said no, but bought a new cafetiere for our use. It was this and other kind touches such as fresh flowers and a bottle of wine on our arrival that helped make our stay special. The beds were comfy and the shower was amazing. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again should we be back in the area in the future.

Absolutely amazing cottage!

!!! They had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Even put a small bottle of milk in the fridge. Close to most tourist attractions with some amazing views and beautiful sunsets on offer. Can not one bad thing we will definitely be going back to this cottage.

This very last minute NYE break could not have been more perfect.

I nearly cried when I walked into this cottage, it is basically my dream home! I thought the living space was quite large, and you have everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. It was immaculately clean, the furniture and fittings are so new and shiny, and I have no idea what laundry detergent was used on the bedding but it smelt amazing!! It is the perfect location for hiking multiple routes around Snowdonia, whether on the east or west side of the Snowdon mountain range. And, the views from the cottage are incredible, too. The skylights in the bedroom windows give great night sky views of so, so many stars which is beautiful to fall asleep under. We loved our break (one person, one dog), and couldn't imagine a better cottage to bring in the NY in, with the easy light log burner going and enjoying a complimentary bottle of wine. In short, this cottage was a gem of a find and we will absolutely definitely be back in 2020!
