The wildlife very special, hares, cuckoos and the owners have rewilded plants for insects. The owner was very friendly and helpful when we needed something, but left us to the tranquility. It was clean, but long term maintenance needs improving. The hob wasn’t working for the week, the gate dropped and hard to close, the extreme temperature change three windows were blown, the outside table looking tired. The owner with improvements will make this an even more special place to return to.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay in the cottage, but we were sorry to read your comments regarding the maintenance issues. We will review these areas as part of our ongoing maintenance programme.
During your stay , we visited to check the cooker after it was reported as not working and found the hobs were heating up at that time. However, to provide additional reassurance, we arranged for it to be inspected after your departure by a qualified electrician, who confirmed that the appliance is working correctly and that no fault was found.
With regards to the windows, currently there is no issue with them, but maybe during periods of exceptionally hot weather it is important that they are vented or opened regularly to help manage the temperature difference between inside and outside?
