“Location. Less than a two-minute walk to the Porthmadog Steam Trains and the Train Station.”

You can see the Trains from the apartment balcony. If you love steam trains this is the place for you. The view across the estuary also from the balcony and the lounge area is breathtaking. The Harbour which you walk past on the way to the Train Station has places to sit and eat and attached to the Train Station is Spooner’s restaurant everything from just a cuppa to a full meal. We ate at the Yacht Club Restaurant also within a 5-minute walk. Apartment. It’s compact and comfortable, it could have done with airing prior to or visit, but as we had the doors to the balcony opened all the time, this aired the apartment out. The apartment is on the top floor accessible by steps, this was not really an issue for us, but a bonus was that it enhanced the view as we had a higher vantage point. Bathroom and kitchen areas were clean, and everything was available. If there was a negative aspect it would be the carpets, in short, they need replacing in the lounge and hallway, as they are threadbare in a number of places but otherwise, as a base for what we wanted to do it was perfect.
