“Very clean and well equipped house.”

The little welcome basket was a lovely gesture. The hot tub and dartboard was a massive hit with our teenage son :) There is some great dog walks and days out around the area. If you like the castle have a walk down and see it at night, it looks incredible. The marina walk is great for dogs and really nice if it’s a clear day! Recommend Zip world for children, our son loved it! We also loved how most places were dog friendly. Thank you so much, we had a great time and wouldn’t hesitate ...

Gorgeous scenery. Lovely house, clean and tidy, comfy beds and the Hot Tub was a winner with the children. Welcome basket left for us on arrival with tasty treats. Host was in touch too, initially to give us the information needed regarding keysafe code and other practical information. Would stay again.

“On arrival the property was well presented and clean, a welcome basket of biscuits and sweet treats was a nice touch.”

The property had most things you would need. A couple of Pyrex bowls to use in the microwave and a chopping board to use on the beautiful kitchen top would be ideal but everything else provided in the kitchen. People mention the bed, we found it a bit uncomfortable but just because it's quite soft, so more of a personal choice than quality issue. The lounge is lovely and bright to relax in. There is plenty of storage space both downstairs and upstairs. The local premier shop and a fantastic chippy are literally a 2 minute walk, also a great play park with dog walking area. The walk into Conwy is a bit of a trek but can be done if you enjoy walking, there are busses close by if not. Property is a good base for lots of interesting places to visit. In the garage as well as a great hot tub there is a dart board that we had lots of fun using. On the first morning we had a couple of issues, the bathroom sink plug not 'popping up' so wouldn't drain, bathroom door catch sticking so we rang the number provided in guest book and Adam the owner, lovely guy, came round immediately and fixed both problems, returning later same day with a new catch. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

“Really lovely place, clean and a great location.”

The owners are fantastic with how responsive they are and met every need! The neighbours are also lovely and dropped us off some beers! We will 100% be back. The only piece of feedback i have which i'll point out i didn't raise was some WD40 on the bedroom door hinge! Perfect place :D

“We had a lovely,relaxing,last minute stay in your cottage just what we needed.”

The cottage was warm and modern inside. The tv is large and one in both bedrooms with Netflix etc and an Alexa in the lounge.Down the road isa swing park and a football field for children and a level path that takes you into Conwy centre a lovely autumn walk for us and the dog. The super kingsisize bed is lumpy and noisey,spring matress not for us.the hot tub was amazing under cover in the garage. Thankyou for the sweetie welcome pack. We would book again only for a short stay because of mattress.

“We had a lovely stay at Ty Conwy.”

The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was a big hit. It was very clean. If you are taking kids there are no plastic plates or bowls or cutlery. The location is great for exploring north wales. We went to Dylan’s for a meal which was lovely and the staff were all great as well.

“Our Weeks stay at Ty Conwy was a comfortable stay, The decor was very well done.”

It was a nice staging post for seeing the sites around parts of North Wales & the hot tub at the property was a real bonus & a great thing to have. We did have a couple of issues, we had trouble with the tv, netflicks stopped working & we could not get the BBC channels, I called the owner, Adam & he told me a previous guest back in July had messed up the system, he did tell me how to fix the problem, I filled his instructions, but for me they did not work, so it was a bit of inconvenience, but I did have my own netflicks on my laptop so we could watch it through the tv & we could watch the BBC channels through the BBC Iplayer. All the windows in the house could have done with a good clean, especially the front one in the lounge as the dirt was highlighted when the sun came around in the late afternoon, there were also cobwebs on the outside & inside of the patio doors & cobwebs on the back of the dining table on the left-hand side & they had all been there for a while, so that was a bit of a letdown

With regards to the TV, I (Adam) personally spoke with you on the phone and explained that previous guests have struggled to use the smart TV, so as a contingency we have added an Amazon Firestick to make it easier to operate. I talked you through how to use the TV at length, you informed me the TV was then working fine. I advised you to let me know if you had any further problems with operating the TV and that I would be glad to help. I attended the property half way through your stay to check on the hot tub, and during this visit you again told me that everything was ok. With regards to your comments about cleanliness, we employ a professional cleaning team who conduct a thorough and deep changeover clean in between in each guest's stay. We also personally conduct a cleanliness quality check prior to guest's arrival. We are therefore confident that the standards of cleanliness were very high for your arrival. If cobwebs or marks on windows occur during your week-long stay, this is unfortunately out of our control. We appreciate you leaving the house clean and tidy on your departure, thank you. “We had a lovely stay here, it was comfortable and of course with the added bonus of the hot tub, it was easy to unwind after a busy day walking.”

The property had everything we needed for our stay. Great we didn't have to take our own towels and bedding. We loved the location, a 15 minute walk to Conwy Centre and easy access to explore North Wales. The locals were very welcoming. A local shop is near by for those essentials, not forgetting Wooseys Fish and Chips (the best by far) also just down the road. Dogs were welcome. There were bowls and a feed mat available should you need them. Would definitely consider staying again.

There was no live tv but on catch up plenty of things to watch. The location of the cottage was good to a local fish and chip shop where the staff was very friendly and there was a shop which I cannot comment on because we never used.There was a local field to walk your dog if you take your four legged friend with you just down the hill from the cottage .

“Amazing property, clean and lovely interior.”

Comfy beds and a great shower. Hot tub and dart board a real bonus. Location great for Conwy (easily walkable) and surrounding areas via car or bus if you want. Would definitely stay again if possible!

“A little disappointed.”

Tried all 3 smart TV's, said no signal, only Netflix & iPlayer available ? But we had books to read. Pyrex jug only item suitable for microwave. Pyrex/plastic bowls would be useful. Table mats for kitchen table would be good idea. We found spring mattress quite uncomfortable. Tiny bathroom sink, more suited to cloakroom, gentleman like good wash before bed. Upstairs windows could do with clean, but probably just age. Hot tub was good, being in garage, dried up leaves blown in, didn't give "ambience" to use frequently. Upstairs carpets whiff a bit of dog, maybe bit of shake N Vac. Owners have put in a lot of effort in refit, new boiler in bedroom, but left old one in situ in kitchen ? paint on floors, unfilled holes in walls ect let them down 10/10 for effort though

We would like to address some factual inaccuracies in your feedback. Firstly, the smart TVs do work and have many channels. Secondly, both boilers in the property are in use and working, the old boiler has not been 'left in.' Thirdly, there are plenty of glass Pyrex dishes in one of the kitchen cupboards, and table mats too. Fourthly, the sink in the bathroom is small, however the property is a small terrace and we opted for a smaller sink in order to accommodate a bath, which we felt was more important to our guests. In addition, there were no dried leaves in the garage/hot tub room on your arrival, as we do a final check of the whole property before arrivals. We cannot accept responsibility for leaves that may have blown in during your stay. The mattress you have stated is uncomfortable is brand new, we can not cater to everyone's individual preference in mattress type. And finally, as for the whiff of dog upstairs, the carpets are cleaned thoroughly before each guest, however as a dog-friendly property, is it impossible to completely avoid this. “We found our stay at the cottage to be very average.”

The main concern we had was the cleanliness of the cottage- dirty floors, thick amounts of dust under chairs and tables, windows that dirty you can’t even see out, hairs in the bathroom. My dog found a old ball under the bed- so it was obvious that it had not been cleaned. It was clear that the obvious had been cleaned on the top surface but the cottage needed a very deep clean and a maintenance update- we spent 10 minutes trying to fit the keys in the safe box! We found the mattresses was very uncomfortable also, which made our sleep very disturbed. The hot tub was a nice feature, but our towels became black from the dirt on the floor and the thick cobwebs in the room was a little of putting. The cottage could have a lot of potential, because the location is perfect but for the price that we paid it needs a lot of work doing to be happy with the stay.

Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is without doubt world famous for its historical and architectural heritage, yet at the heart of the town lies a hub of bustling activity. Alongside its ancient festivals and fairs, musical recitals, galleries and historical attractions, there is an array of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels. Built for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287, Master James of St George's design, Conwy Castle remains one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture. The distinctive, elongated shape, with its two barbicans, eight massive towers and a great bow-shaped hall was perhaps determined by the narrow rocky outcrop on which the castle stands. The town is proud of its historic traditions and celebrates its past by retaining many of these in its annual festivals, events and fairs, including the Honey fair, Seed fair and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October, along with other musical events throughout the year.
