    Never had an issue before with booking through yourselves but this property should be either downgraded or removed to maintain your quality. Upon entering the property it was evident there was a lack of cleaning with dirty floors and carpets covered in dust. The outside patio area is drab and consists of a rustin leg metal table and hot tub. The hot tub seemed clean and did I have a chlorine tablet in the dispenser but only half of one and therefore after the 2nd day I was not happy for us to ...

The outside patio area is drab and consists of a rustin leg metal table and hot tub. The hot tub seemed clean and did I have a chlorine tablet in the dispenser but only half of one and therefore after the 2nd day I was not happy for us to use as when going into the hot tub it was evident it had grime and slime building up. There was also a strong smell of dog poo wafting over from next doors patio which would could see was covered and not cleaned up not the pleasant experience we expected. The kitchen was basic but did have all the utensils needed. The lounge furniture which is leather is peeling off and needs changing but it was OK for a short break. Don't expect to get wifi after a long day's exploring it was extremely slow and unreliable but we made do but a 5 rating needs all the amenities you'd expect. The main bedroom bed was comfortable and bedding clean along with the twin room however one bed felt as if it was falling apart and the duvet was poor and all clumped up and needs immediately replacing. The bathroom is small with a shower over the bath, great water pressure but the shower screen seal is quite honestly disgusting needs replacing, again the floor wasn't cleaned upon arrival. It seemed alot of the mess on the floor was from peeling paintwork on the walls so clearly maintenance is required throughout. Not a pleasant stay, feel I have been robbed for the money spent and will 100% not return but this is our second time in the area and would return to the area of St Asaph.

St Asaph, though small, was awarded city status in 2012, even though it boasts a population of little over 3500 occupants. Lying in the Vale of Clwyd, six miles between Denbigh and the coastal town of Rhyl, in North Wales, St Asaph enjoys a strategic location overlooking the rivers Clwyd and Elwy. The city offers delightful riverside parkland and a children’s play area with picturesque river walks where you may see kingfishers, sparrow hawks and buzzards. St Asaph is home to a historic cathedral, dating back 1400 years in areas and holding the reputation of being the smallest, ancient cathedral in Britain. It is also renowned as the location where the Bible was translated into Welsh in the 16th century. In September, the city comes alive with the arrival of the North Wales International Music festival, which takes place across numerous locations, culminating for the last few years in a television finale, broadcast from the cathedral.
