    “Good size property with huge bedrooms.”

    Well equipped kitchen and decent open plan lounge area. Large T.V,s and Ensuite. Location isn't great, right next to a public car park and to the rear a factory building site so quite noisy and dirty. There is an alley way down the other side of the house in to a housing estate and the house double rear doors go straight out to it which made my wife very anxious. The house wasn't particularly clean, cobwebs on the bedroom walls and the small toilet seems to have been missed on cleaning day ...

There are cables hanging down from the T.Vs so a risk to small children. No curtains so you are woken early as the blinds provide little to no sunlight blockage. En-suite extractor fan doesnt work, flat batteries in TV remotes, half the toaster is broken, mattress far too big for the bed in the 2nd bedroom. Towels and bedding seem old and worn, especially the pillows. These little things above are easily fixed and to be honest whoever "Cleans" the house should be making more of an effort to test appliances, remotes and well...clean. The house has been decorated well and is very modern, it actually doesnt suit its exterior which like most things in Holyhead is dull and grey. Holyhead town has nothing to offer really, we ended up going backwards and forwards to North Wales and Anglesea. Unfortunately this trip wasn't as expected and felt that it wasn't good value for money especially the location. Great if you catching a Ferry but if touring Wales and Angelsea go somewhere else. We actually cut our trip short and come home a day early.

The School House is a wonderful, converted church nestled in the bustling town of Holyhead, on the North West coast of Anglesey.

Presented to a delightful standard, The School House is a great choice for couples, families and friends looking to make the most of this scenic region of Wales.

The open-plan living space is a wonderful place to socialise, equipped with a range of appliances throughout.

Enjoy quick meals at the breakfast bar or set the dining table up for a larger feast, before escaping to the sofas and choosing a film from the Smart TV.

The School House offers three bedrooms, each with carpets, fitted storage and wall-mounted Smart TVs, with the master enjoying access to an en-suite shower room.

There is also a luxurious family bathroom with freestanding bath and walk-in shower, so you can best decide how to prepare for the day.

Holyhead is an excellent holiday base, with the property nestled right next to a shop and a pub, and there are many more tasty eateries available, as well as Holyhead Maritime Museum, Admiralty Arch and access to the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path.

Elsewhere on this scenic Isle there are several beautiful beaches, breath-taking walks and historic sites to visit, as well as a sea zoo and the opportunity to try out watersports and wild swimming.

Visit Beaumaris and Caernarfon for their wonderful castles, or if adventure takes you further afield, why not catch the ferry to Dublin and enjoy a day in the Capital of Ireland?

HOLYHEAD

Trearddur Bay 3 miles.

The bustling town of Holyhead rests on the North West coast of the Isle of Anglesey, the largest town on the island and perhaps known best for being the main ferry port to Ireland. Steeped in history, the town boasts the remains of Roman town walls and forts, medieval burial chambers and stone village foundations. Explore the Breakwater Country Park, a former quarry, which offers designated walks through the grounds. The park is full of interesting wildlife, most notably the seals who visit the Holyhead coast, and outlines the amazing construction of the world's longest breakwater, some 1.8 miles, which today protects the harbour. Visit the colourful marina with its yachts and tall ships, or the town's maritime museum, with its tales of 100 shipwrecks in the vicinity. Day trips to Ireland can be enjoyed easily from here, with Dublin just 90 minutes away on the fast ferry. With spectacular cliff top walks over Holyhead Mountain, golden sandy beaches at the award winning Trearddur Bay and the Snowdonia National Park just a 20 minute drive away, this is a superb holiday location, at any time of the year.
