“Ty Mawr is a lovely farmhouse on the edge of the village, close to ameneties but still feels secluded.”
The views are to die for, with Snowdonia in full view from the large secure garden. There is ample parking for at least 2 - 3 cars.
The property itself is very nicely decorated and very comfortable, although the bathrooms, especially the ensuite, would benefit from a couple of shelves to put toiletries on, and hang towels on.
On first use use, we couldn't get the ensuite shower to work, and it took us a while to actually find the power switch which was hidden behind the dresser in the bedroom.
On getting up on the first morning, we had no water, and so we contacted Mrs Jones who quickly acertained that it was a burst poipe in the village that Welsh Water was working hard to fix and she kindly offered to pay for any bottled water that we needed to buy, but this was not needed as the burst was fixed quickly and the water back on with an hour.
We would highly recommend Ty Mawr for anyone who wants a peaceful stay on Anglesey.
Thank you for your stay and feedback. So sorry again about the water cut it was something out of my control and never in all the years has that happened before. For the ensuite bathroom for the use of 2 people I do feel that the cupboard under basin and the hook on the door is adequate but, I will remember to ensure the shower power switch is on guests tend to switch it off as it is by the light switch for power saving.
Thank you once again and best wishes.
