“We recently stayed at this property for three nights in North Wales and overall had a lovely time.”

The surrounding scenery is absolutely beautiful – waking up to the view from the bedroom window and seeing sheep in the morning was a real highlight and made the stay feel very special. The property itself was nice and clean, with the bathroom being particularly spotless. The shower was excellent and one of the standout features. The downstairs area was also spacious and comfortable in terms of layout, and we really liked the decor throughout, especially in the bedrooms and bathrooms. That said, there are a few areas where improvements could make a big difference. The en suite bathrooms are quite cramped, and the sink is positioned very low – even for someone of shorter height, it felt awkward to use. The sofa, while fine in appearance, wasn’t particularly comfortable and felt quite firm when trying to relax and watch TV. We also noticed a few practical issues. The welcome pack mentioned an iron would be provided, but there wasn’t one available in the kitchen area – fortunately, we had brought our own. The toilet roll provided was very thin and not the best quality, and there was no holder in the bathroom, which meant having to place it on the radiator or floor. Small details like this do impact the overall experience. The bed, although nicely presented, was quite firm and smaller than expected – it felt smaller than a standard double, which made it a bit uncomfortable for two people. A larger and more comfortable bed would definitely improve the stay, especially for taller or larger guests. A few additional touches would also go a long way. A shower mat would be helpful, as the floor becomes quite slippery, and it was a little disappointing that no soap or body wash was provided. While we understand this is a self-catering property, these small extras can really elevate the experience and make a place stand out. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and always love visiting North Wales. With a few improvements, some added storage, and a bit more attention to the smaller details, this property could easily become an exceptional place to stay.

Hi Maisie, many thanks for taking the time to give us feedback. We are pleased to read that you enjoyed the location and views from the property. Both bedrooms have European sized double beds with hotel standard mattresses. It is tricky trying to find a mattress that suits everyone's preferences as some people prefer hard over soft etc. We have tried to optimise the space in the property as much as possible, but ultimately are limited by property size. The property has under bed storage drawers to provide further space for storing items, hopefully you found those. Sorry to hear that you didn't find the iron, it is usually kept under the kitchen sink. If you do decide to visit again and cant find items that you need please do reach out to us on the numbers provided and we would be happy to assist you during your stay. Property Owner
